Buckeye
I'm looking for suggestions regarding good city fight scenarios. I've played Vossenack-A Second Chance, Knock Em All Down, and To The Last Man, all of which I enjoyed a lot and recommend. But if there are others that you've played and think would make a good PBEM game, please let me know. Thanks!
Kingfish
Keith, I suggest you try Wild Bill's 'To the last man' and Moon's 'Utrechtseweg', the first is a scenario, the other an Op. Let me know if you are looking for an opponent.
Buckeye
Hey Kingfish! Long time, no hear! So you're back in circulation, eh? I've played To The Last Man, and I'm not sure if I'm ready for an op, but I appreciate the recommendations. I'll be in touch about a game.
Andreas
There are two 'To the last man', one by WBW, and one by me. Don't know if WBW's is a city scenario, mine is. You can also try Trun, that is a Byte Battle™ sort of built-up fight. I have a real city Byte Battle™ in the works though.
Stoffel
you should try the Gotterdammerung scenario, its big,the map looks nice and its playable from both sides you can find it at the scenario depot I forgot though who made it
Andreas
I totally forgot, Berli's 'Liberation of Hyéres' is also a good city fight. Available at Der Kessel, like all good scenarios

Sollies-Ville is set so most of the action takes place inside the town, so that may also be considered an urban fight
Buckeye
Thanks, guys. I will take a look at those... Andreas, I tried both versions of To The Last Man, and enjoyed both quite a bit. Managed to kick my opponent's tush pretty badly playing Axis on yours (sorry, CD!). Circled him with a noose and tightened!
Buckeye
Thanks, Berli...didn't see your post until mine was already up. I'll take a look at both of the Liberation scenarios. They were recommended by another pal too. I've enjoyed some of your others, so I'll probably like these also.
Andreas
Ah, but did you review it? Eh, eh?
Panther G
I recently playtested "The XXX Corps arrives at Son", which I would recommend. I'm not sure it's into circulation though. It has masses of allied Armor trying to take a bridge over the Wilhelmina Canal. Part of the map (2/3) isn't city, but it is still a good scenario. Buckeye
Hey Andreas, whaddaya mean, review? What's a review? Isn't that some sort of burlesque show?
L.Tankersley
Keith, I got home late last night so didn't have much time for CM. I was going to go with "Toulon" but whenever I open it I crash to desktop. So I think Gottendamerung is it but I need to finish my setup. Not sure if the Toulon file is corrupt or if it's just my machine -- it's been a bit flaky of late. And that's "revue."

Buckeye
Oooh, I tremble in fear. Okay, Leland, I'll await Gotterdamurung. Or, alternatively, you could download Toulon from Der Kessel yourself. Probably a mac/pc problem with how I opened the file.
Affentitten
I liked Gotterdammerung, especially since I used to work in Cologne just over from the cathedral. Only drawback was that that crappy McDonalds where they always gave me cold fries wasn't included in the model. I was looking forward to blowing the hell out of that place and that one bitch of a manager. Also, it's a big city map with a hell of a lot of burning buildings, so if your processor is a bit flaky like mine, it can be a very laggy experience, even with all the graphic effects turned low. Michael Dorosh
I did Little Stalingrad, on the CANUCK site below. Still not sure of the balance, but the map is purty...
David Stone
Frost Holds On at Arnhem. Might give Brits a plus % in PBEM though. [ 11-20-2001: Message edited by: David Stone ]</p>

Buckeye
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. Now I'll have a store of city fights to try. And heck, just to keep Andreas happy, maybe I'll even review 'em....nah, probably not.
