"honey you think we should, you know, get married?" "suuuure, in BEIJING." intrusive laugh track, pistol fingers, mug to camera. anyway, good luck!

tooz
Congratulations! Er, I assume your wife is Chinese (I married my Chinese fiance last June)? I also live in China--near Nanjing. Are you teaching, working, or studying in China?

MikeyD
Wow. It turns out playing CM may just be compatible with catching and keeping a female after all! I suppose they figure if we're at the computer all the time we're not off getting ourselves into trouble. CM make us docile. Congratulations!
Macphail
to answer your question, i am not chinese, i am canadian, but i live and work in beijing. i teach english at a pretty good place, and have a very relaxed lifestyle with alot of time to play CM, and drink beer. and yes, my wife is chinese.
tooz
Steiner, send me a quick email(address in the file)--I tried to send one to your address in the file but it was kicked back to me as undeliverable. We seem to have much in common: a Chinese wife, CM, BEER (outside of Tsingtao,Hapi, and the local version of Carlsberg everything else is watered-down crap)and teaching EFL in China. Interested in a PBEM and possibly a hotseat either in Beijing or here in Jiangsu? Perhaps we can hold the first ever China CM tournament? Are there more LAO WEI here in China that play CM?

junk2drive
"if that dont work, ill give you my work email. or, you could come...." must be a north american thing to not use caps and not use ' in contractions and "if that doesnt work" would be better for an english teacher. but what do i know, im an american. edit: congratulations, i just finished 32 years, first timer.
Macphail
im just really lazy, and holding the shift key, and looking for the ' key is too time consuming. im sorry it makes my posts harder to read, ill try and use more caps and ' in the future. you try living in china for 4 years and see how it affects your grammar.
