jbertles
A pillar of fire in the desert (with apologies to TE Lawrence) - although it was in Italy... perhaps even more appropriate, Etna-like....

Kingfish
May I suggest to the allied player that he choose and alternate location from which to cross the river. The one depicted seems so...oh, help me out, What's the word I'm looking for here?

GJK
Ahhhhhh, the old "Sherman hit by a high-velocity, large caliber shell while on the end of a bridge causing the eternal torch to be lit" incident again huh? Been there, seen that.

Abteilung
I saw that and immediately had images in my mind of the old "impaled dead guy at the city gates" style of "no trespassing" sign that used to be popular once upon a time.

von Lucke
Looks like a classic compare / contrast situation. The Pillar-o'-Fire is obviously a gasoline-fueled Sherman, while the other, less Smote-From-On-High burning Sherman is diesel-fueled. Maybe Panther Commander should see this thread?

mike8g
Well, I had a similar incident in CMBO. You can easily recreate it. This graphic glitch happens when a burning vehicle is positioned at the end of a bridge. Marcus

GreenAsJade
I mean what kind of software bug is it that stretches a piece of fire on the end of a bridge!? (IE I know how to reproduce it, I just can't imagine what causes it!)
