Hans
What is the slowest Allied vehicle? Any nationality and any time or place okay, just need a SLOW vehicle. I need a real slug for a scenario design.

Hmmmmm Which is the slowest, a Matilda?
willbell
Hans, You are evil. Sea Lion gave me a heart attack when I realized how slow my tanks were (can't remember the model). Fortunately I was able to readjust my tactics to compensate a little. Will
Hans
Evil? Moi? In this case it will be representing a something that should be moving slowly - but that is still secret. Yes some of those early war Brit tanks DO suck like Plan 17 but what the hey.
MikeyD
Sounds like a simple enough test. Create a scenario with one hidden German sniper (so the scenario won't automatically surrender on opening) vs one of every Allied vehicle you can find. Start the scenario, give all your vehicles the same move commmand to the other side of the map, and after 60 seconds see who's running in last place. I'd bet my money on Matilda.
Michael Emrys
If it's off-road, it just might be a truck. One time I tried to move an artillery observer by Kubelwagen and he could almost have gotten there as quickly on his own two feet. Faster if he'd run. Man, those things are slow over open terrain. Good test however must make sure the command delays all the same.
Brent Pollock
Off-road, my money's on a truck towing the biggest gun it can. The slowest AFV in ASL was the FT-17, which is probably not in CMAK...unless the Italians built some on contract.
securityguard
If you're talking about tank, I think the Renault is the slowest. I think it has an on-road top speed of 25mph, but I could be wrong.
Hans
Hmmmm truck towing an artillery piece - good idea.
