Col Deadmarsh
I'm getting back into this game. What ladder are most people on? Is Tournament House still in use?
dieseltaylor
You could try Band of Brothers. See if you like it and let me know. http://webandofbrothers.de/index.htm [it even has discussion forums] : )

Soddball
Welcome back. Serious CM Gamers demand combat against the finest, and they find them in the Cheery Waffle Thread.
stikkypixie
There is no substitute for the Peng challenge thread.
37mm
Neither the Peng thread nor the 'Cheery waste of time' threads are 'ladders' for one thing those things imply people can rise where in the cesspool people can only go deeper... Still if you wish to dip your toe try to remember the rules...
Panzer76
There are no real competitive ladders around anymore, not after TH closed a long time ago. The ladders listed here is nothing more than social clubs with some semi-competitive aspects. Not to say thats a bad thing of course!

Many of our players from KampfGruppe play on this ladder and are currently playing in 3 different tournaments; King of the Steppes, CMAK Tank Joust and Top 16 Invitational. WarfareHQ Hope this helps.

Band of Brothers feels reasonably competetive to me, in a friendly way. It's missing any method of guaranteeing that you play balanced scenarios, but the ladder scoring is pretty stingent, and set up so that only people who are taking it seriously are likely to bother... works for me! Cannon-fodder
I play at The Blitz, which is pretty active. I'm predominately a social gamer, so I don't mind the lack of competitivenes. I tend to get to know my opponents pretty well over a number of games, and I like it that way:)
