  1. The widget isn't working. Neither is the in-game MP browser.
  2. will it crash if i remove the music files?
  3. Is it possible to turn off the in-game music? Its great and all and very cool the first twenty times or so. After that it gets real old. Especially the game load music.
  4. Will rolling back to 7.11 interfere with games released since then ie. CoD4 which I play as much as CM?
  5. Well... I did the one thing I hadn't. I set the ATI Compatibility option to ON. I hadn't needed to do that before. Now everything runs smoothly but the mouse isn't nearly as accurate in placing the movement or fire points. [ February 06, 2008, 09:28 PM: Message edited by: KG_AGCent ]
  6. Essentials: WinXP SP2 Intel Core2Duo e6700 Conroe @ 2.66 gHz ATI x1950xtx 512mb GDDR4 with Catalyst 8.1 2gb Corsair DDR2 2x Western Digital Raptor HDDs @ 10,000rpm RAID0 Samsung SynchMaster 2232gw 22" LCD 1680x1050 @ 60Hz refresh Game at vSynch: off Model Quality: Balanced Texture Quality: Fast AA: Off High Priority Process: On When I first enter the stock campaign and go to click a unit, the game seems to freeze momentarily (less than a second) then as the game "unfreezes" the map terrain will redraw. This happens every time I select a different unit and it doesn't matter whether the units embarked, infantry, support, armor or APC. I run at 1680x1050 native resolution and the game detects that just fine. I adjusted the resolution down and this had no effect on the hesitation. It is making the game difficult to play. Any ideas?
  7. The improvements made in this patch are a vast step in the right direction. This is a good game, with great potential. There are still some rough patches, in the multi-player especially. The connections just aren't very solid yet. Quicker, yes, but fragile. Played about 8 or 9 Mp games this morning/afternoon with btwn 6-8 players and each time one of the p;ayers, and it was almost random whom, had issues with infantry either not moving, tanks not responding or players dropping with runtime errors, CTDs or freezing. I am going to play smaller sided games and see if this might help.
  8. Manx; could you please give some examples of how you do this efficiently?
  9. I have to say that the changes are a drastic improvement in playability, especially the LOS/LOF tool.
  10. I think it would nice to be able to peruse the documetation while waiting for the final edit of the patch. T'would give some gristle for mind.
  11. Thank you very much for your quick and concise response. I have DL'ed the scenario and compliment you on your map work! I also DL'ed and used the Conversion tool and have used it with out a hiccup. One other quick question, when making an operation how do you change the unit base colors to reflect the color of the deployment area you wish that unit to remain in during the initial battle setup?
  12. Is there a utility that can either import and convert CMBO Operations or at the very least the maps used in a particular Operation to CMAK format? Alternatively, is there a CMAK conversion for the Halpenny Operation made by DesertFox? If so, where can I get it? Another option is there anyone who would be willing to make a conversion of the map for this scenario which is available here: http://freenet-homepage.de/t34m43/page114fe976ef0.html
  13. Is there a tutorial that will explain EXACTLY must be done to get this to work? I try to boot up a Huge map in a Forest and I get 500mx500m in a wadi.
  14. I saw nothing in the release notes for 1.04 about any corrections to the QB bugs. Is this slated for 1.05, fixed in 1.04 and not mentioned or forgotten about?
  15. Hamachi only works when people... eh... like... turn it on.
