Pascal DI FOLCO Posted October 26, 2001 Share Posted October 26, 2001 Hi all, I'm seriously envisaging to create a small website where to put CM goodies, MODS, news, humor, etc... :cool: Now I have ADSL, Morpheus, and -very little- server space, but I'll do with that, I don't need to store lots of stuff, CMHQ is here for that But I did't find yet a cool, suitable, unregistered name ... Well, in fact I have one but am unsure if what the community will likeit : www.combatmansion.com (Don't click ! It doesn't exist !! ) Do you like this ? Else I request your help for another cool name : it's obviously has to mention "Combat Mission" or at least "CM"... Der Kessel, The Last Defense, Boots and Tracks, and Desert Fox Desert Rats are all excellent sites, and they don't have CM in their names. Pvt. Ryan Posted October 26, 2001 Share Posted October 26, 2001 I think modsluts.com is a great name, but Pascal probably won't be hosting too many mods based on the space he has available. On the other hand, if he uses that space to quickly host new mods before other site such as Manx's CMHQ can get them hosted, then perhaps modsluts.com is a very appropriate name. If, hypothetically, you, hypotheticlly, did, hypothetically, work for CMHQ, hypothetically, we could call it TMM's CMHQ, which would stand for Ted, Manx, and MadMatt's CMHQ (hypothetically). From what Manx said, even a visit to your page takes up bandwidth even if nothing is downloaded. You could have a header saying: "Did you come here looking for porn? Well, you found it! Welcome to the world of Grogporn!!! Please provide your Adult Checker password or sign up for an account. Seriously, if you need some server space and a bit of time to get something of your own set up, i would be happy to invite you to stay at "my place" for a while. I have paid for it up until Feb/March 2002, so if you wanted to host some larger files you could do so, at least until you have had time to sort something else out.
