MikeyD
CMSF2 is a stand-alone title that is able to play all of the original CMSF1 scenarios and campaigns without need for conversion. Its an 'upgrade' in the sense that a 2018 Toyota Camry is an 'upgrade' over the 2006 Camry. I get the impression CMSF2 is meant to keep the CMSF brand marketable for future, not merely a fan-servicing 'patch' for old purchasers. CMSF was at a crossroads. Either the title was going to expire like CMBO or get revived and stay an active product on their (virtual) store shelves.
Sgt.Squarehead
I for one am very glad that CM:SF will remain viable for the future.....There's still a lot of good gaming in that title yet.
Artkin
Agreed, and I hope we will see more expansions in the future... Turkish M60 bombs..

Seems like less of an upgrade and more like a reevaluation. So what are you insisting Mikey? Can we expect tracked Turkish time bombs or what?
GAZ NZ
So is CMSF2 a brand new engine? and CMBS considered outdated? Cheers
