Bufo
Hi I just bought CMBS, and I am also interested in Red Thunder, but the price tag is very hefty. Anybody knows if there are discounts sometimes? Maybe I can expect now, during easter?
John Kettler
Bufo, Welcome aboard! BFC doesn't do discounts, except for bundles. There is presently one for CMBN, which consists of CMBN + Commonwealth + Market Garden + Vehicle pack. Normally, that would run $160.00, but BFC is selling the CMBN Bundle for only $105.00! http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 There was/is (not sure, but believe it's still in effect) also the Big Upgrade Bundle which, for a modest price, allows you to Upgrade (normally $10.00/game) ALL of the CMBS games save, I believe, CMFI, and does it for both Windows and Mac. Unfortunately for you, BFC doesn't do discounts the way you'd like. Never has and, based on what Steve has said several times, never will. Other great deal iare over on the CMx1 side of the house, the CMx1 Classic Games. The wargame which started it all, CMBO, $45.00 in 2000, is now a mere $15.00 (in highly inflated dollars). It covers from right after D-Day to VE Day. You can also get CMAK (North Africa, Sicily and Italy) and CMBB (Barbarossa to the Fall of Berlin for 20% off ($40.00 vs $50.00 for already heavily discounted wargames). What other firm is still selling games released almost two decades ago. Wish I had better news for you, Bufo, but I suggest you buy yourself a piggy bank and start putting money in it. John Kettler
Michael Emrys, Wasn't aware of that. Great news for all the CMFI owners, so thanks for passing the word! I must say, though, based on some of the AARs I've seen, CMFI looks great. Have to say coming from Normandy and the steppe, it's thrilling to see mountains.Am also very fond of the camouflage jobs on Allied vehicles and the variety of vehicles which didn't make it out the MTO to the ETO. I tried and failed to find the Big Upgrade Bundle. Does this mean it's in some obvious place and that I went right past it? Such things have been known to happen! Anybody knows if there are discounts sometimes? No, there is no history of sales for thier games. The only deal with a price reduction are the bundle offers.

Sooner or later you'll buy the other games, too. ?

banned
Alternatively you could consider Graviteam´s Mius Front. Great game, similar to CM and you´ll also meet many CM veterans over there. Edited May 2, 2017 by MANoWAR.U51
