Pallebahtep
Hey - I received a message from my opponent that he has surrendered, but I have not received the final file back. Not sure what process is at the end of the game. Do we keep the final details secret by submitting the file to you or do we complete and post the AAR screen?
kohlenklau
Just stop playing. I will take care of the processing so fog of war is maintained.0

kohlenklau
Migojo has been liberated from the fascists. The defending unit was severely beaten. 17 pow's. Over 150 dead and severely wounded. Only a few handfuls of troops were seen fleeing into the forest. 458th Rifle Regt entered the battle with 240 and now musters 177. The 25th Guards Tank Brigade has 2 of 16 tanks destroyed. However, severe crew losses result in only 10 tanks fully manned. 4 tanks will await recrew until turn 3 and rejoin as green.

kohlenklau
The brave assault into the Forest was unsuccessful. 6 tanks were lost and the Penal Company has suffered significant loss even with the morale building presence of Starshina Safonov

kohlenklau
They made their moves and have declared at least 1 assault as shown and maybe 1 more.... As they approached, your ADF (auto defensive fire) picked off 1 KingTiger and 2 men from a PzG unit in the purple rectangle) Edited September 7, 2015 by kohlenklau

Concord
Okay thanks Phil. Still working on the rest of the map construction. I'll put on a burst of speed on it this week.
kohlenklau
The 2nd of 2 axis assaults is the Panzer Grenadiers in (2,5) and PzIV's in (3,6) attacking the allied troops from the failed Forest Battle assault, the T-34's and Soviet Infantry in open terrain hex (2,6). Please advise who will fight the 2 battles. Thanks!
kohlenklau
Here is the link to the empty recon battle map (no units yet).. kohlenklau
UNIT LEADERS: Remember each can only be used once, maybe twice at my discretion. Let me know ASAP if you want any "sprinkled in the soup"....! Alexander Kazakov - Kazakov is the protege of Colonel Stav, legendary among the men of the 27th Guards Rifles. When Colonel Stav was killed by a sniper's bullet during the Battle of the Dnieper, the whole regiment's attack stalled, as the men mourned the loss. Kazakov's tactical prowess instills confidence in his soldiers, as he leads them from victory to victory while keeping casualties to a minimum.Juri Gilsher - From early in the war, Gilsher demonstrated a natural instinct for armoured warfare. Having reached ace status while commanding a platoon of T-34's, Gilsher was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel mid war, heading up an armoured battalion. Gilsher has a reputation for keeping a cool head even when under pressure, knowing when to keep low and when to strike.Mikhail Safonov - USED ONCE IN FOREST BATTLE TURN1A Starshina Safonov, a veteran from the earliest period of the conflict, a hero of the Soviet Union, his vast experience and tactical ability at infantry combat inspires his troops to achieve beyond their normal limits.

kohlenklau
Marco2marzo! Do you want to take the recon battle? Your opponent is your old opponent from San Donato, Italy when you attacked as Canadians! But this time mjkerner is attacking against you... EDIT: If OK with your CO of course... Concord
Sure, sounds good. I don't think we'll use any of the special leaders in the battles this turn, given that each group is in peril (fairly small, and being attacked by more powerful foes).
kohlenklau
OK, it is 0300 in Italy so Marco is asleep with his Teddy Bear. Bear, get it? Soviets, bear...ahh, never mind!
