Vergeltungswaffe
Absolutely. I play the CM series on Windows 7 64 bit and it's wonderful.

Erwin
Win 7 64 bit even has a 32 bit emulator, so either way it's no problem.

Jock Tamson
Which he won't need. Uhm, yes he will, he will just be unaware he is using it. It is called WOW64 and it is used by any 32 bit application running on Windows 7 64 Bit.

Vergeltungswaffe
I know the major computer makers still sell PC's and laptops with 7 because it is rock solid and still very popular. XP support just stopped and it will be some time before Vista support goes away, so any computer you're running with 7 will need to be replaced before support for that evaporates.
