First Person Camera Preview

Heh :D

I personally use the FPS camera settings. I started to use it simply because, well, I was the one who was designing it so I should try playing with it! There's still a few things I miss about the old system, and a few quirks that are unavoidable given this isn't a FPS game, but overall I really like it. There's some neat tricks you can do that can't be done in the other modes.

Oh, and I think it's not mentioned anywhere yet... right clicking on a unit will bring up the graphical Commands menus (like Spacebar). I don't find it particularly useful because I'm a hotkeys kinda guy, but I do use it sometimes.

In all seriousness I'm really looking forward to seeing how it plays out, as while the current camera functions and I'm sure I could get used to it seeing as I like making CM video AARs a camera that I'm more comfortable with can't hurt! Between the first person and the strategy it appears you have put in a lot of effort to give us that choice.

@Steve: was that a joke or will there really be a first person view in CM:RT? If yes, well, that would be reeeeeeally cool :D.

Its not first person view, but I think that there is a new camera control system which is based on a first person system of input.
