My M8 insists on using canister shot on HT's despite having a lot of HE and AP to use. As one would imagine, no casualties or discernible damage were caused until he had expended all canister shot. sburke Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 From previous experience I know canister may become the preferred round from the AI's view as it is going for exposed crew. Once the unit buttons up however it shouldn't. I do know this was looked at in CMFI-GL. It could be that Bartokomus's unit was trying to target passengers or crew, but without seeing it I can't tell. Then use HE or AP to kill the vehicle, if it hasn't escaped or (if armed sufficiently) successfully returned fire. 2. Use HE or AP to kill vehicle and possibly crew, prevent vehicle from escaping, prevent vehicle from returning fire, and force remaining crew/passengers from vehicle where they are helpless and can be easily eliminated with canister or MG fire.
