Bob Willett
This obviously has been probably discussed before in the previous modules but I have missed it in the Forum, but, are we ever going to see the incoming aircraft doing their strafing runs or bomb drops especially now in "Red Thunder" since the AA guns can shoot at the aircraft attacking? I had hoped that the landing of gliders or the dropping of paratroopers would be part of the movements seen in CMMG game engine but they were not included. Obviously in Red Thunder we will not see this added but it would be a fun visual to eventually see in the CMBN system.

Unlikely to ever happen, but I do bemoan the lack of a straggled-across-the-ground-parachute flavour object for Market Garden - you could have a few in differing states of collected/bundled-upness.
Dr.Fusselpulli
I understand the much more work about visible flying airplanes. But I would love to see some gliders als flavor objects in the marked garden module. This would be a huge atmosphere boost.
Bob Willett
Thanks for the thread link. I suspected a graphical nightmare and now I got it confirmed from Admin. Its nice to see I'm not alone missing this aspect which we old war-gamers had in the ASL board game which this game system seems to have evolved from and has gone way-beyond what it had achieved!

sburke
You mean you kept a few airfix models handy and made pew pew sounds? don't forget the VROOM! as it buzzed your troops. Where do you think they got the idea for the end of the battle in SPR?
