ZPB II
Anyone else having this problem or maybe found a fix for it?
bisu
I also have the impression that the quality of graphics becomes worse when switched to movie mode..
Bil Hardenberger
In my experience this mainly is an issue where there is a hard edge, like on tank skirting etc. Otherwise anti-aliasing works fine in movie mode IMO.
Guest
Movie mode does not disable anti-aliasing, or lower graphics quality. The contrast effect used counters some of the visual cleanliness of anti-aliased hard lines, primarily. There are things that can be done about that but they're either a) fairly expensive GPU-wise or go too far in the other direction. We settled on what I think is a happy medium.
JRMC1879
Anyone else having this problem or maybe found a fix for it? It may not help you - but I did notice this - however - after turning down the Anisotropic Filtering setting I had to x2 it seemed ok. For what its worth anyway ...
Guest
Neat, thanks JRMC. Yep, some card / driver settings may ameliorate the "contrast causes some jagged edges" effect (in fact it may not show up on some systems / settings at all).

benpark
I found that turning the shaders "off" when in movie mode allowed for a little less contrast (and I didn't miss them as much as I would in normal mode). Try turning those off when in movie mode to compare the looks.
