John Kettler
Take a look at the eighth pic from the bottom. Clearly, the intent's to go from what's depicted to CMBN computer format. Erwin
The lenses were great. Remember Zeiss optics? The cameras themselves back then were a bit bulky bacl then is all.

John Kettler
At first, I thought the models were of Panthers, but Panther Zugs aren't three tanks, but Russian tank platoons are. From this, I conclude the lesson is on tank formations for the Russians and the singleton therefore must represent the company commander, who is equally obviously teaching the maneuver formation lesson. Also, the tank company is apparently shy a tank, for we're short one tank commander. Since no one's there in his stead, my guess is that the entire tank is out of the picture, for any number of potential reasons.
