mikewhol
Why would my tank commander stop in the middle of the road and give an StuG a perfect flank shot! It had orders to quick move across the street, not stop for a death pose! Mike
iMolestCats
Maybe he went full retard... You know what they say, NEVER go full retard.
General Jack Ripper
If you want him to move across the street, and ignore everything else in the world, use the FAST command.
Hister
You should give it a fast order. Quick made him stop and started engaging the Stug when it was spotted. Edit: Emued by SLIM.
YankeeDog
Without more details info like a screen shot or, even better, a save game file, it's impossible to say. Vehicles executing Quick orders do not normally stop in the middle of a movement of their own accord. There must be something unusual about your specific situation that caused the tank to stop, but without further info there are too many possibilities to even speculate. EDIT to respond to above: AFVs executing QUICK orders do not normally stop to engage, so it is unlikely this is the problem. AFAIK, HUNT is the only order that will cause a vehicle to actually stop and engage in the middle of a movement order. Vehicles on QUICK might shoot while moving, but they won't stop.
womble
I would guess (wildly) that there was some constriction or obstruction that the tank could not negotiate, though it appeared, perhaps, that it ought to be able to.
Seedorf81
If it was a British tank, it could have been tea-time?
Pak40
If it was a British tank, it could have been tea-time? LOL! ah, that joke never gets old.
Nelson 1812
Perhaps the commander had a stutter... and was going to say... shoot! But it came out as sh..!
