They have called in fire from an Infantry Gun which is next to Company HQ with a Radio. I adjusted the mission. The dialog box says Spotting but not a single round has landed. Any idea what is going on? (Some of you are probably smiling as I am the one that started the thread about disliking artillery! However, it is in the toolbox so I will use it. At this point, I click Cease Fire and will try again. But if anyone has any idea of what was happening I would like to know. John N Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Could it be that the target is closer than the minimum range for indirect fire of the infantry gun. I have not tried using onboard guns for indirect fire so do not know if that could be the problem or not. nik mond Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 I saw a 75IG that could not get elevation on an indirect and was hitting a building 3 tiles infront.
