BASA
I have been playing CW Battles lately, when a loaded up any of the USA battles, I noticed that some of my troops in the squads do not have any helmets, never seen this before, does anyone what the problem is
Wicky
You need to install the chinstrap mod before setup.
sburke
Did you happen to install Mord's mod? I did and got the same effect and then did a faceslap when he pointed out that is actually a noted side effect. You can keep that Mod (I believe it was a commando mod) in a seperate folder and just remove from your data folder to another location when you want to play a scenario featuring GIs.
Mord
LOL yep, the stupidly named Commando Mod (Should've been Red Devils)...that has to be the culprit...only other thing it could be is if a helmet mod is saved at a higher bit rate than 24. tdogg
I had this happen, I solved it by adding more helmet mods to my US uniform MOD. I have maybe 10 different US helmet varieties. Some how this compensates for mords commando mod.
Mord
But when you do that do you end up with helmets sticking out of the Brit para's chins? Mord.
honjkirsen
"But when you do that do you end up with helmets sticking out of the Brit para's chins?" Yep sure did, thought they were some sort of secret weapon hitherto unseen, until they started running into trees/buildings etc, then i realized they had GI helmets sticking out of their faces!
BASA
Thanks to everyone who replied, Yes you were right it was that Mod that was causing the problem, I have now removed it and everything is now OK. Once again Thanks
