If drone units get to be 'proper' military units, then a drone platoon is no more than two trucks: one with a 10" container with an openable roof which is filled with drones and their docking bays. This one has to drive into range.
And another truck with communication, command and drone operators. This one just needs to be in com range (by relay) to the drones. They don't need to move that much.
Tracked or wheeled, they can deploy as fast as any mechanized unit.
A few billion $ will make a proper military grade equipment out of the hodgepodge setup we have now. Reaction time will be on par with artillery as you can start flying as soon as you know roughly where the target is. Artillery can't be stationary anymore, too.

About the influence of Russia & China into German politics: both the number 1 & 2 for the upcoming vote for the EU parliament of our local fascist party AfD are under the suspicion of taking Russian money. Additionally, the head of the office of #1 has been detained for being a Chinese spy.
And people still vote for them: they get about 15-30% (depending on state). If we had only two parties, I guess the political landscape wouldn't be much different than in the US.

TG channel of 177th naval infantry regiment servicemen mothers and wives says for two months in Krynky only 10 % of regimemt were turned back intact from initial 3000 of personnel. So 2700 killed, wounded and missed.
Regiment now in own permanent station preparing new replenishment. 

I wrote two days ago - Kharkiv lost all substations and their thermal power plant was badly damaged. About 2/3 of the city remained without electricity and half without heating. Today city authorities reported they managed to launch subway and increaese number of houses, plugged to power grids. But heating season will be aborted prematurely (it's lucky on this week the temperature will rise gradually to +17) - this will allow to release energy resources to plug more houses. 
Limitations on elecrtricity consumptions have Kryvyi Rih and Odesa. Yeaterday in Odesa was halted all electricity transport. 
Some troubles there were in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Reportedly one opf two hydro power plants destroyed completely and it repairing (or new-building) will take several years
DTEK company reported on today they temporary lost 50 % of own power generation capabilities (DTEK is owner of mostly thermal power plants), But main generation in Ukriane is nuclear power plants, thermal plants mostly use for cities and oblasts power and heating supply
All other territory of Ukraine didn't encounter with lack of electricity. 
 

Russia's actions are intended for western consumption. The west is being shown that 1. Russia is inexhaustible, thru constant offensives, 2. Russia retains capabilities to inflict terror on all of Ukraine, 3. Russia's terror is emerging, ala war crimes and breakdown of prior standards.
This is designed to both demotivate western civilians and policymakers to abandon Ukraine.
AND ITS WORKING. The Speaker of the House should be fired. The cowardly Republican House deserves to lose in November on the mere basis that while the majority of Americans support Ukraine, majority of Republicans support Ukraine, majority of Senate Rs support Ukraine, they themselves support Ukraine, we have endured months and months of delays for no good reason.

Scholz (finally) explained why Germany won't deliver Taurus to Ukraine.
TL;DR: you would need German soldiers in Ukraine to operate Taurus, and that would make Germany a war party. The explanation implies that the UK & France have just done that for Stormshadow/Scalp, but Germany won't.
This has caused harsh critics from the usual suspects (which is from the opposition and the other two parties of Scholz government). The point that German soldiers are absolutely necessary also seems factually wrong.
Scholz has willingly painted himself in that corner. I don't see a way out of it.

Interesting UKR comment under video of Taras Cmut. An unknown commenter claims that UKR drone with 1.5 kg of plastid can take out any current RU dugout in typical Platoon Strongpoint (if it flies inside - they use another drone to blow up door/protective net first). 
BTW, hiding in dugouts is the main way to survive on frontline right now. 

New UKR tactics
 

They are not charging forward. They crawl. This is their advance in 4 month and 16 thousand dead.

Their wild charge after capturing Avdiivka is 3.5 km. They aren't charging anywhere. They crawl and push. It is not strategically relevant. 

According to the most reliable reports, A-50, which was somewhat deep in Russia (see my drawing above), was hit. There were reports of two planes or one plane and one helicopter hit, however it appears that A-50 been broken into two parts, which were misidentified as two planes. There is a report based on video of broken parts that it was not A-50 but IL-76 transport airplane. I am waiting verification on this one. The UKR AF claims to have downed the A-50 and IL-22 command post. I am waiting verification on this one. Also, there are reports that Su-34 in Kherson negatively gained altitude.  One thing is certain: the RU Day of the Fatherland Defender was a great success. If you know what I mean.

Rybar's map depicts a crashed A-50 near Mariupol. But it was dated 15.01.24. Probably something like this has caused the misunderstanding. Looks like IL-22 was not confirmed It is still possible that there are two planes. The reports are conflicting and confusing. Nobody seems to know right now.

Meanwhile, amid protests, military equipment moves freely to and from Ukraine as it constantly did from the start of the war. Despite various colliding interests, theatrics for camera, housewives histerias and propaganda of dependant media outlets no vital military shipment was blocked. Dogs bark, caravan goes forward.
MIG29's are apparently (still) going to Ukraine. Btw. there are constant appeals not to record movements of troops and military vehicles; somebody may have problems cause of this clip that is now widely shared in Rusnet. Several weeks ago we also had another wave of arrests of people who registered shipments and tried to install cameras on roads.

ATGM teams and drones are not the primary UKR issue. UKR drones can deal with ATGM teams. UKR can effectively neutralize RU drones at the place of their choosing (they are doing it in Krynki). Mines are the problem, but they can be dealt with. 
UKR main problems are Gliding bombs, Helicopter and Airplane ATGMs (plus luck off shells for offensive operation). They cannot practically deal with them at all. 
 
UKR are risking launching HIMARs & Co. Effectiveness of RU AD is exaggerated. There are ways to deal with them. 
 
AFAIR UKR explanation, they will gain more flexibility for striking (different platforms have different operational limitations). And it will complicate RU options in countering UKR platforms.

1) Literally nobody calls F-16 Wunderwaffe except you.
2) After Patriot downed a few of RU planes in the Kherson direction, RU suspended glide bombing for a few days and considerably reduced bombing activity for almost a month. They only lately resumed bombing at the same intensity.
Once Patriot assisted A-50 in becoming a submarine, RU stopped patrolling the Ukrainian border. They currently patrol around 200 kilometers farther. As a result, they lost radar control over mainland Ukraine and had limited radar coverage over their own troops in the southern operating zone (Kherson and Zaporojye).
