This was very well said. Everyone seems to think people with constructive criticism should just ignore this thread, and I ask why? Yes certain trolls such as joe and spook take the thread off the rails, but I also feel it’s important for newer people to know that much of the advice given here is just...let’s call it wrong. Combat mission is a difficult game to master, and I’m glad certain people are willing to call out bad advice when it appears.

I would absolutely love for this to happen. It would be great fun, especially if you made an aar out of it. @Battlefront.com Steve please make this happen. I think I speak for all loyal Combat Mission customers when I say let them fight.

To be fair, it takes very little to strike fear into the heart of the ukranian army. Even uttering the simple phrase “that ridge is held by unemployed taxi drivers” is enough to turn the Azov battalion into a quivering mess.

Nah, I was very new and still very bad at this game when this match was happening. A lot of sulomon and I’s games consist of people who don’t know what they are doing throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. -

If it were obvious it would be on the agenda for the devs to fix, yet they ignore your constant requests to fix it. When the people actually in charge ignore your repeated compalints, it stops being “obvious complaints” and instead becomes nothing more than the petulant whining of a sad British grog. But don’t worry, I’m sure the devs will listen to you after your 40th post on the matter.

Lmao, I wish I could claim the title of number one active troll, sadly I think @IICptMillerII gets those honors; he's also more successful, like that time he got you put on timeout. Anyways, you shouldn't be so hostile squarehead, I'm just giving you good advice, stop being bad and most of your problems, like losing t-90s to immobilized, damaged IFVs, will go away.

Him having a solid point is fine. In fact, I may even agree with it. Doesn't change the fact that "get good" (or as the Germans say, git gud) is pertinent advice that should be heeded. I have, sadly I was forced to abandon the game early on. It’s a difficult scenario that requires a lot of skill as the russians to avoid the attack becoming a farce. I can understand why the scenario would be difficult for less skilled players

The tests by @Rinaldi showed that artillery pretty universally immobilized the Bradley and wiped out many of its externals. Frankly, if you are struggling to take out immobilized, heavily damaged Bradleys, then you should consider getting better at the game instead of blaming everything on the devs.

I don’t like to indulge in conspiracy theories but I think that poster is a sock puppet. @Sgt.Squarehead why do you think you pointing out the real issues with Russian equipment and with the Bradley in game brings out so much emotion from the same group of people?

This is a problem that I have witnessed several times. I wish they would fix it already. In general Russia needs a boost to its capacities to destroy blufor. Some people complain about the 4.0 infantry bug ruining single player, but I think this is a far more pressing issue.

Why in God's name would you ever want that? Like the premise of the thread is already pretty questionable (why would the US ever bring out m60s when it has the Abrams, its not like the US is going to be taking heavy tank losses any time in the near future), but this is just getting even more wew lad. Frankly, the only reason to introduce an autoloader to the M1 would be to lure the Russians into a false sense of security: "see Marshal Putin, they are just as incompetent as us, attack Kiev now!"

I think you are vastly underestimating what a Stryker equipped unit can do. For example, let’s hypothetically say in the future that Pro-Russian ukranians have finally taken over and NATO needs to put them down. Now let’s imagine a likely scenario. Ukranians BTR4s swarm a Stryker unit, Domigo “cholo” Chuerrero and his main ombré Jamal Jackson take position with javelins, they effortlessly destroy the flower of Ukranian AVs. See why the Stryker is still used?
