Yes. The song is hilarious because apart from phrase hinting at Aslin sadness at trial (touching it very lightly) it portrays British as ultimate fighting machine that rolls toward RU. And RU say they are not pussies and as tough as British so lets fight and fittest will survive.
But on top of it the clip that focuses much more on British that on RU as if main characters are British marines/soldiers. And the is icing on the cake is first scene from I believe old British cartoon that evil RU bear attacks unsuspecting neighbor and British lion get his police cap and off to inflict justice on RU evil bear.
It is great honor actually - despite all the claims of fighting with Americans now you cannot fight anything like this about Americans. Still remember the pain of Crimean war.

Meanwhile situation near Bakhmut got worse. UKR troops retreated from the heights n south and probabbly south-east from Bakhmut. Villages Gladosove, Travneve were abanoned. The enemy reportedly already either near Vesela Dolymna village or even seized it (5-6 km SE to Bakhmut). Looks like UKR troops are withdrawing on SE directions behind small Bakhmutka river, which divides Bakhmut on two parts.
The first bridge bridge through this river in Bakhmut was blown today, but this is light pedestrian bridge, not for the transport
Except a lack of artilelry (or ammunitions for it) UKR forces on Donetsk and Bakhmut directions also have even more bigger lack of AD assets and MANPADS. Russian aviation fells completely free in the air, so they strike, for example, Maryinka with groups of 2-4-6 jets, after which helicopters follow.

Galeev went into detail why he felt that Russia was similar to South America than other places. Heres the ending, rest of the thread, he was discussing the stat that 80% of the population was Russian in Russia by pointing out decent chunk is mixed, or Mestizo and self-identification is a very important part of ethnic group identification. Not sure if hes correct regarding his premise, but I was wondering why he felt that way.

Excellent reporting by the BBC's former Russia correspondent Sarah Rainsford, who was kicked out of Russia before the war; I will quote only the introduction, a part about possible crimes against humanity, and the conclusion, but highly recommend reading the whole article - it should be accessible to all without a paywall unless if you're in Russia:

I would like to make a correction to the widespread misuse of chess as a metaphor, but not for pedantic reasons - I think it's something worth keeping in mind when playing CM or any other tactical wargame:
Most chess games between grandmasters end in a draw. You do not win at chess by outsmarting your opponent; you win by waiting for him or her to make a mistake, and capitalizing on it. If neither player makes a mistake - and grandmasters rarely make mistakes - the game ends in a draw.
    From Wikipedia:
"In chess games played at the top level, a draw is the most common outcome of a game: of around 22,000 games published in The Week in Chess played between 1999 and 2002 by players with a FIDE Elo rating of 2500 or above, 55 percent were draws. According to chess analyst Jeff Sonas, although an upward draw rate trend can be observed in general master-level play since the beginning of the 20th century, it is currently "holding pretty steady around 50%, and is only increasing at a very slow rate". Draw rate of elite grandmasters, rated more than 2750 Elo, is, however, significantly higher, surpassing 70% in 2017 and 2018.
In top-level correspondence chess under ICCF, where computer assistance is allowed, the draw rate is much higher than in the over-the-board chess: of 1512 games played in the World Championship finals and the Candidates' sections between 2010 and 2013, 82.3% ended in a draw. Since that time, draw rate in top-level correspondence play has been rising steadily, reaching 97% in 2019."

They must have also been advised by the French Army on how to use them because the two infantrymen on the rear open hatches were standard employment in Afghanistan. They are there to do close defense and observation (rear, proximity etc)

You know what that move Russia made towards Kyiv in the beginning of the war was?
Putin's Gambit - where you screw up, then say it's all part of the 'plan'.

Russians issued a video how their loiterng munition is desrtoying UKR transmitting module for Bayraktar in Kherson oblast. This is not control station, but the module which allows to expand operational area
Russians used in this strike upgraded loitering munition Lantset, but I can't find it real name. This type with one big wing instead pairs of X-wings in Lantset-1 (1 kg HE) and Lantset-3 (3 kg HE) was spotted in first time in Syria in 2021. Reportedly it can carry more heavy warhead. Usual Lantsets can fly aboput 30 minutes on the range 40 km

In general, the situation is quite tense, food and fuel prices are constantly rising. In the first months of the war, our government kept the value of the national currency against the US dollar. But in the last month, the hryvnia was released into free fall and declared that the old prices for the dollar would no longer exist. Prices for literally all groups of goods began to rise noticeably.
Despite all this, the mood of the people is quite calm. I expected that during the war it would be much harder in the rear. So thanks to our Western allies for economic assistance

According to the current balance of power infographic, Ukraine seems to be closing the 'artillery gap' - but ATACMS should have been arriving yesterday; any number of crappy old APCs would also be appreciated:

And another one on Ukraine's AFV numbers at the start, losses, and replacements:

I don't want to take the thread OT either, so leaving this here without comment - as factual as it gets:
F1 driver says 'what happens in Alberta is a crime,' feels responsibility to speak about climate change
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/sebastian-vettel-oilsands-alberta-climate-change-1.6493309
"Sebastian Vettel arrived at the Montreal Grand Prix wearing his thoughts about climate change on his T-shirt.
The Formula One star from Germany arrived at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in a T-shirt with "Stop Mining Tar Sands," and "Canada's Climate Crime" under the picture of a pipeline. He's wearing a helmet with the same slogan this weekend.
"I think what happens in Alberta is a crime because you chop down a lot of trees and you basically destroy the place just to extract oil and the manner of doing it with the tarsands, oilsands mining, is horrible for nature," Vettel said, when asked about the T-shirt at a news conference Friday.
    ...
His team Aston Martin is sponsored by Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil giant Aramco."
