  1. Can these be fit into the CM world? Mk II HE - TNT filled version instead of regular powder MKIIIA1 - paper type tnt filled grenade for clearing bunkers, close quarter areas or fortified areas. Also concussion causing. M1 Frangible - About 8 types glass filled about half were used as incendiary, casualty the other half screening mostly. M14 Thermite - bonds metal. Plugs barrels of AT guns or tanks making them pretty much useless.
  2. I was wondering about when the regular troops (not vehicle crew) started to carry them. There is the M3 and M3A1. One version i think the a1, can take 9mm rounds as well as .45 by changing the barrel.
  3. i have not noticed but is the greaser in this game?
  4. Where they only used on the beaches? Did they use them in the hedgerows or any other places inland?
  5. @ Op good question. Does the loader have to watch the belt the whole time it seems as though at least the US side when the belt is loaded it's good for awhile until it runs out again. The loader in the meantime I would imagine is using the rifle or spotting. Can't the gunner hold the belt and fire or no? Doesn't it unfold from the box ok? It might depend on the machine gun. And mg team doctrine if anyone can find it. May be here http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USA/ref/FM/
  6. Macisle I posted a screen of a sniper covering for the troops rushing up a hill a couple pages back and you have one of a thompson laying down some automatic covering fire. AI is pretty amazing!
  7. In cover and with a range of about 5,000 (almost twice that of an mg-42) meters an m1917 group scans the field for targets
  8. the driver of a psw 223 falls back with an mg-34 after it was knocked out by a US Half-Track
  9. The picture looks like a bunch of kid scribbles. Depends on what they set the bomb fuse timer to? Some may penetrate deep into the ground other on contact.
  10. yes the p-47 1000 lb bomb was used to knock out factories as well, that crater is right. The p-47 could carry two of them,
  11. Here are some I found, you can take a look at some or maybe forward them on. You may find some interesting. encyclopedia or in game vehicle stats and weapon stats like cmx1 had no Fallschirmjäger offered for normandy base game.. huge sparks needed on armor hits with penetrating rounds mgs could deploy on small walls not below them ability to turn off engines on vehicles modifier would make spotting that vehicle more difficult and crew can hear enemies ans spot things better via sound with no engine running more video, sound and graphics options no dead bodies in vehicles? no tire deflating? .50cal rate of fire is way too high mg-42 is too accurate almost like a laser beam m-20 and m8 should be able to stop mg-42 rounds an rifle rounds on vehicle at distance. Survivable should be higher in these vehicles. us half-tracks armor should stop rifle and mg-42 fire over distance surrendered soldiers should return if enemy is eliminated in certain area quick battle variables need a ton of work .50cal and german cannon should leave bullet decals for penetration or deflections in german armor, it's a big round. small arms should leave small bullet or deflection decals on armor helmets should have bullet/deflection/shrapnel decals bodies should have hit decals trees need knock over ability vehicle pieces crack off / come off if it hard by heavy rounds, turret explosions needed on cook-off peak option if near wall or corner more soldier status displays - lost weapon, unjamming, weapon broke, repairing, bandaging, emotional status for troops display? cowering, fanatic, heroic, ill, berserk, normal, unconscious, panicked, pinned, suppressed, routing (exiting map) body parts, limbs lost - hey it's war.. option for troops to dig in - may take a lot of time ambush option - stay hidden until 50 meters or so then fire from hidden spot. bayonet / knife close combat There needs to be a larger decal on armor for exit hole, if round does exit "open up" command in a vehicle is great but exposes a lot of the body, ability to "peek" over edges of vehicles and manlets to spot would be a nice other option allied mortar team missing launcher and baseplate weapons when moving
  12. Over the last couple months I have compiled a list of in game bugs for 3.11. Where can I get these to the right people or should I post them here?
  13. no it wouldn't dude, 75 miles after puncture would make sense because of the back track power. Didn't know they were pretty much rubber filled. the damn truck at the loss of the front tires would as the energizer commercials say going and going and going. Unless a single shot to the engine area of course. Still they were purple heart boxes. Just think if they fixed JUST ONE PROBLEM and increased armor to 15mm how good the US 1/2 track would have been. Or just pile crap around it like this http://www.usarmymodels.com/ARTICLES/Rations/Halftrackfull.jpg
  14. how far would an actual live us half-track go with both of it's front tires out of commission? Is the back track capable of tracking it along well as long as the front still turn?
  15. yeah ability to turn off engine to increase sound contact range would be cool. I heard the army had an armor ID book but I don't think you could tell what it was from the sound. It probably was inaccurate as well, but you could tell a truck from a tank for sure.
  16. Well On the lighter side it appears to be a bug we know. I'm glad I didn't buy the commonwealth pack, don't think I could stand that..
  17. I don't have that on mine.. all programs?????? What are u using windows 90-fail? Uh.... I guess I'll just wait until they come out on the website..
  18. BF needs a "check for update" button to the game you bought. If they do patch stuff up.
  19. why not the? .50 will knock a stug with no side skirts out with side shots, also it can take out a panthers engine from the back.
  20. what are you guys talking about? The hellcat had the MG on a ring that could be turned 360.
  21. Yes there could have been a soldier that went berserk or fanatic after seeing his crew member die but who knows if the game incorporates it. There should still be a peek over to at least site targets instead of open up, that's just common sense if you open up to expose your whole torso it brings more chance of a bullet or shrapnel to hit you. All you need is from the top of your helmet down past the eyes to reduce getting hit.
  22. I agree. There should be a "peek and fire" option on all vehicles that would hide the torso better. MG-42s are like lasers way to accurate.
