Yes, target light should encourage less AT rocket use but it will also encourage less grenade launcher use too.  The OP ran into the problem that was noticed during testing and was changed to be less common but it was not eliminated form the Tac AI's tool box.  We could advocate for even less use against non vehicle targets but we already have seen a couple of threads asking for *more* use against infantry.
 
A question for Abdolmartin, did you use the target command on the enemy unit?  Or did you let your guys just choose their own targets.

Fair enough. To my knowledge, and this has been true clear back to CMx1 CMBO, the games explicitly model target aspect (azimuth),  elevation, pitch and cant when attacking a target in DF. Since the engagement is modeled in 3-D, there is a real advantage in engaging sloped armor from above, for doing this removes some of the effective thickness as a result.

It has a lot to do with the way my brain processes, or doesn't, certain kinds of visual information. What's perfectly normal to you as a way of expressing yourself initially registers on my awareness as about as understandable to me as Urdu. Essentially, it triggers a brain short. After that, it's still something like reading something worse than blocks of crypto code, and only then can I begin to tell my fingers what to do, yet I still had to fix it. Twice. As I've observed many times, I'd make a terrible teenaged girl, for my dexterity, compared to theirs, is awful. I am very much, you see, on the opposite end of the bell curve from those people you see on TV who jump on the computer and, with fingers dancing at the apparent cyclic rate of a MG-42, proceed to just fill up their screen. Eons ago I took touch typing, in a time in which I hadn't been pulverized yet by life, and though 99% accurate, my typing rate was 26 wpm! With the error rates I run these days, I'm profoundly grateful for word processors. That reminds me. I need to talk to Steve about my retirement plan. Ten cents a word retroactive to my first post, right? Should be an easy sell!
 
As for the MK 211, you'd think that a cartridge that potent would be unshootable by a man with a relatively light weapon (28.5 lbs empty w/scope) , but today's AMRs, unlike the PTRD (38.1 lbs, w/o scope)), for example, have proper recoil systems. YT has a vid showing a little boy firing a Barrett, for example.

I thought SLAP at 19 mm at the same range was impressive. The MK 211 is roughly 2.5 times that.  In fact, it has better penetration at 1500 meters than did the 50 mm Pak-38!

Let me see if I have this right. Are you saying you currently have and are playing CM:Touch? If not, to what do you refer? I have no idea what Xbox tank game you're referring to, nor do I understand the part about women having accounts this summer. CM isn't a subscription based game, so the only accounts I know of result from making a purchase. Since BFC goes to great lengths to use UNCLASSIFIED sources only, and since BFC isn't a defense contractor, has no CLASSIFIED material and isn't subject to DOD security regs, there is no reason to have to clear anything with the Pentagon. Indeed, I've never heard of such a thing until now. As for the tragedy, I hope it was from hacked Xbox accounts and not something worse. It's great you're talking up CMBS to females and males alike. We welcome new blood--so we can shed it. Virtually, of course!

Unless I'm mistaken, you are the only known self-identified female playing CMx2. Indeed, you may be the only such playing BFC games. Period. If so, that's a shame, since females are a burgeoning part of the game market in general, and BFC has many games from which to choose--at all levels from grand strategic down to individual soldier, gun and tank tactical level. We guys have no lock on interest in military tech, weapons and warfare. Indeed, when I was in college, most of the students in my Military History class were female. We now have female A-10 pilots and B-2 pilots, female Tactical Action Officers and skippers in the Navy, women in the ground combat arms long closed to them. These and many more could become BFC's customers. Why not?  There may well be others here of your gender, but they are here incognito. The last I recall, it's been years since we last had a woman on the CM Forums. So long ago, I believe, that CMx2 didn't yet exist. If you're really the only one, may you be but the first of many more to come. Besides, isn't it time to find a better way to fight the Battle of the Sexes?!

Someone does vid content aggregation and has no less than 57 vids vids on Msta-S and other SPA. The 2S19 Msta-S does not have MRSI capability, but the Koalitsija-SV does. Given the current budget crunch in Russia, I have serious doubts this SPH will even be in service in the CMBS time frame. The vid you posted is fascinating to watch. Time lapse tiny people and cars scuttling about or whizzing by (tower shot from must be really high), eventually made more exciting by what look like battalion volleys, not MRSI fire. If the goal is to cut the road, or at least damage it, conventional artillery fire is perfectly adequate.

O.K. sorry I got off topic, shaking it off.  I think Crimea is not the same (which is the topic here) because, Putin is not going to stop taking over the cities around the Black Sea.  Until, he has all of the cities around the Black Sea.  In my opinion, Putin abhors having the U.S., Korea, and all the other countries subs and battleships delivering who knows what to his back door.  He is tired and ready to close it off totally.  Make it his or Russia's.  With the new technologies coming out that use hydrogen as a fuel, he would then have an above ground energy source H2O, lots of it.   Wouldn't he?   I heard about engines now using 80%water/ethanol 20% as a fuel coming out in 2020.  Got that directly from the son of a manin the U.S.  who is part of a project to ensure this happens around 2020.  The legislation and laws for these are already in place for 2020.  Used to be you could view the laws on Moller International.  Not sure who will be the leaders yet, but  a European Company just announced their flying car.  Back to Ukraine, if these soon to be sold flying cars in Europe run on 80% water, would not the Black Sea be a gold Mine?  Look at the size of the Black Sea, it's huge.  Here I was thinking about oil tycoons, maybe not wrong, but, what about a Sea of Hydrogen, can you say rocket fuel?
