About quick battle maps I tend to think the best of them are those that gives a minimun distance between players. In CMX2 I never play quick battles that are basically resolved in turns 1-2. On the other hand in small maps enemy troops start very close one from another at the beguining. Perhaps initial deployment area should be shorter. Sometimes even medium maps are solved in two turns (plains, no cover, etc.). Hope Battlefront would consider about it. To choose a good map in quick battles requires some time and experience.

A more flexible quick battle purchases. It´s required to purchase at least one formation first to get single vehicles and specialist teams. Formations are really expensive and only a few can be got in tiny or small battles. Ok not very realistic, but I still miss the CMX1 system purchase in order to choose what I wish for small battles.

Absolutely! CM is one of my favourite games, I would love to see one day a challenging AI (non-scripted) in a simultaneous-turn game with amazing graphics. It must be a fantastic experience. The engine is the key of a classic game (in the same way that the brain for a person). Just my opinion. "Frozen Synapse" is a good example of WEGO (simultaneous turns) system with a powerful AI, however with poor graphics.

Don´t pretend to be offensive, all I wanted to say is AI should be a priority in a game with spectacular graphics. Think this is the natural next step that open endless possibilities to CM. I know it must be difficult and expensive to do but I can tell you a few games out there are seriously improving their AI, mainly due to new computer proccesors and people preferences.
