  1. It would be cool to see planes and helicopters attacking :cool:
  2. A kind of indication when a vehicle can´t crooss narrow streets. Sometimes it looks the vehicle is able to do it, but later you notice the tank start to make strange and risky movements:( Then it´s too late...
  3. Orders delay is one of the features I really miss of CMX1. Essential for any wargame with a bit of realism. Distance from HQ was the key to be fast following orders.

  5. Possibility to share ammunition between allied units. Example: Use of "acquire" when two infantry units are close enough.
  6. A new order: Watch around. The spotter will turn his face gradually in intervals of 90 degrees, he must be quiet. There are four possibilities: 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees. In one minute time the unit will turn his face to a different angle for a few seconds (30 seconds for a 90 degrees spotting; 20 seconds for 180; 15 seconds for 270 and 12 seconds for 360). A spotter from a vehicle will be able to watch around with or without vehicle movement. If the unit detects an enemy it will automatically stop turning its face. On another note we should recover the "move to contact" order. It´s extremely useful for patrols. Defensive units in CM tend to be very stathic and have a predictable behaviour, these orders will make more challenging (and realistic) any offensive.
  7. Of course you may die attracting friendly fire but IMO it is easier to die if you don´t have any ammo or weapon in the middle of an offensive. I Suppose in real life soldiers ligged enemy ammunition if neccesary. They would take the risk, specially in tiny battles where soldiers were just a few or other circumstances (germans in Stalingrad). Am I wrong? Another idea: Possibility to introduce vehicles in buildings blasted by engineers.
  8. 1-To get ammnuniton from enemy vehicles and body corpses (obviously similar caliber). Also weapons (ie machine guns) from them. 2-Possibilty to drive and use empty enemy vehicles (tanks, halftracks, etc.). It was not uncommon to use them during the war.
  9. Ok, let´s try another one : "Target heavy", would be a good option when you only want to use the main gun. Useful to destroy structures and save machine gun ammunition. Instead of "target briefly" I find easier to push "target"/"target light"/"target heavy" and then choose the number of seconds you need. PS: At the moment is not possible to make a "target briefly light" or "target briefly heavy" in tanks (only machine gun or main gun).
  10. Possibility to rename units during the battle. Specially useful if you wish to share troops with another player in hotseat mode. Another option could be to change icons color instead.
  11. Perhaps future patches (minor changes) and expansions in the next few years will be the only way to include so many good ideas. Eventually it would be very very sad to let them out.
  12. I´m really amazed about the quantity and quality of ideas :eek:. Because of this perhaps a top 30 will be required instead. Furthermore it looks many of these ideas are not difficult to make.
  13. False flags attacks tend to be a good excuse to start a new war. We all know it has been extremely common . The attackers pretend to be the savers of the victims (authentic "spiritualism"). There are good examples nowdays that could be applied to CMSFX2. You know what I mean: massive attempts, bloodly lies, insurgents="terrorists", chemical weapons use, massive media attacks, exaggerations... I would love to see one of these backgrounds in the game, it gives a lot of realism.

  16. It would be nice if antitank mines could be distinguished from antipersonal ones. It´s a nightmare to put them initially. Perhaps a different image or graphic. PS: Maybe it is caused by a mod I have installed?

  18. More ideas: 1-Troops of mixed nations in the same army for quick battles. I tend to play hotseat with three friends, we were dreaming about playing Germans+italians vs Americans+british. 2-Autosave option for every turn (really useful for training or power outages). Sadly we had a power cut yesterday after 20 turns of gameplay .
  19. In the same way than the old CMX1: Ammunition, armour, weapons, explosives, range, grenades, etc. Equipment can vary depending on the nation (ie italian infantry have very different equipment than american ones). Think it is useful to know before you start a battle.
  20. I´d like to see units statistics when I´m purchasing. It´s very important to get an efficient and cheap army.
