  1. Yes, moveable waypoints are neccesary. On the other note I can´t stand playing large scenarios , why? Because there is no minimap, a simple and "stupid" thing that avoids a lot of micromanagement. Did somebody think about it?
  2. A high number of small maps (scenarios & quick battles) would be appreciated. Guess most of people prefer to play them instead of larger ones. On another note think the hunt order makes the troops get tired so easly.
  3. A watch full game replay option. Nice and useful for learning.
  4. Would it be possible a Battlefront server to play online games?
  5. More detailed information about the weapons and vehicles (statistics, rules, history) during the game. It´s really annoying to be playing and reading the game manual at the same time and often the game manual is incomplete about details.
  6. A target accuracy range applied for all weapons in the target arc. Good, Medium or poor range accuracy are different for a tank and a infantry squad. Example: If you are going to make an ambush give orders to every unit involved to shot in good range accuracy. I suppose soldiers know their best range accuracy (depending on the weapon it can be 100m/500m etc), players don´t usually.
  7. A set units formations button (column, wedge, line, echelon). Tactically speaking it would be a great improvement.
  8. I´m not sure at all... Think the file can be opened for a second time, at least the game manual doesn´t mention this issue: "The single file format ensures that it can be transported from person to person without missing pieces. It also ensures that players can’t cheat by opening up individual battles in the Editor to peek or alter elements to make it easier to win. This means the person making the Campaign must keep the individual battles or forever lose the ability to make changes to the Campaign"
  9. An anti-cheat (and a cheat) system for email games.
  10. It does exist when you are under fire, but what about when you need to approach carefully to a distant enemy? You must to do it manually. My wish is to make these routes automatically before you´re detected. Panzer Command Ostfront uses this order creating instantly waypoints to reach an objetive. I can tell you it´s extremely handy and confortable, specially when you have loads of troops (no micromanagement).
  11. An automatic option in order to search for cover (instead of the shortest path) between two waypoints.
  12. Faster movement on roads. I´ve noticed curves slow down a lot the speed of vehicles. Perhaps a new special order to travel by roads is required (it could also avoid traffic jams).
  13. A minimap in the corner of the screen would be so useful for large maps.
  14. A couple of ideas: 1-Campaigns for two human players. 2-Email games for up to four human players (2 vs 2/2 vs 1)
  15. I´m sure about that, but it can be positive in a long-term. Classic games tend to have a powerful AI. Not to mention the process of resurrection of old BF games... Exactly!
  16. Don´t know if it could be possible, but I´d love to see the introduction of warships for coastal bombardments and amphibious landing operations support.
  17. I think so, but you´ll have to follow the parameters of the scenario (ie. axis attack, meeting engagement, etc.) for your QB.
  18. Scenario maps can be used for quick battles if you paste them in "Quick maps" folder and choose them manually. I only have found three maps in the repository that also can be used for QB: "Line of defense"; "CMFI movie map" and "small quick battle with river".
  19. I use them , but every random map is different and I prefer them for multiplayer games since you´re sure it was never played before, and also the surprise effect...
  20. Those are really good news!! On the other hand BF should spend more time in AI patches for previous releases. In this way "old" games like CMSF or Afganistan could be more interesting to new and old customers.
  21. Thanks Schrullenhaft! That makes sense. I hope one day this feature might be part of CMX3 engine since there are MANY threads about it and MANY people interested.
  22. The most important issue: A serious improvement in AI.
  23. I´d like to know why CMX2 games cannot have a random map generator like CMX1. Still there are loads of people playing CMX1 ladder games using this great feature. Is there a particular reason to avoid it in CMX2? Or is it just an "intelligent" business decision?
