Yes is also new for me I was talking about a new vers that I could use yesterday this is the vers 2.92 I have also to starting the new interface, and lot is changing vs the 2.79b where I am also very familiary, but because the addons that I was trying to import in the 2.79 was not working, I was try for recent vers de 2.92, I had the hope mais this doens t work also. Happy moments for you, I see,... this moment that we have a light smile in the face, all the procedure can be long and delicate, important is to scaled the model than export it in mdr dont forget the metadata, depending, if your model is from a game or not do do it correctly check again and again the clip from Aquila is the best. I think to have some infos about what we are searching about mds we have to check the old game like Quake, Return C Wolfenstein, Doom, Juke Nukem...this kind of game are also using md3 mdd mds and perhaps we can find a converter. I will try to put the file with the name rtcw wet blender model tools master (down to download) let me a little time to provide a link I don t remember where I took it on the net, but like I said to me doens t work and is not specilaly for mds but more for md3 and others... link added hope is work le me know the result and your job.   2. Just install an added old addons for md3 mdc mdm mds files name is RtCWET on a new vers of blender, but doesn t work ! a short clip with errors buffers 52 that I dont understand.? . yours opinions guys ! Sorry quality is not the best here a screenshot JM
  3. agree with you but what is the advantage to have two versions ? other thing Steam dont ask me any code, so I am a little wory about that if I have one day to install it again ! JM

(and the bundle in particular) While I prefer the direct approach to BFC, Me too I prefer the direct apporoach to BFC, this is for them also a good help to buy directly on the main place, I dont want make a polemic and discuss about what is better but understand me, this is a little reluctant, and the temptation is great... !!   6. Hi I am a big fan of Battlefront Series like everybodys here on the forum. However, I was checking to buy the last cry of CM games CMBS by Steam, because I have a account and money are sleeping longtimes ago on this account, but, I dont find a game from Steam for the time that I am interresting, only that I am surprise to see the difference of price, I hope that what Steam present is a full operative game and not only an addons, but really I dont see what kind of addons they can have, so the price is very different, but I want to be sure that I will not have problem to install it, also that I would like to changing the place of my HD later, can somebody give me more infos about, opinions,...?? !!   7. ...then copy/pasting its Meta data into your new file creation and then exported to *.mdr When I download a 3d model on the net and replace it by an original CM flavour object in mdr format, this one dont take all properties automatiquely ? in any case me all the 3d models that I take, from the net, I always replace them with an existing model in CM, I dont see any other way to import it that the game will reconized it, or do I understand something wrong ?

  10. If you want, I can convert a big fountain in a dragon teeth and you can make some test with it, but to be more realistic I have to make more as one to have differents sizes, but all is possible tell me only... JM

I was also making some experiments with junks dirt and destroyed things on the street, like book papers broken furnitures...this take time, but is funny, I will try to find it and show it on pic. What could be good is to make a "street" with broken tree and leave this is your domain Lucky ! and Harry will make holes and trenchs... Harry, I dont understand "functional" dragon teeth ? JM This was only a test about Junks dont check to the textures I dont take time to include it ! Original junks from CM My tests with a destroyed buildings some furnitures and piles of dirt its work and we can make a lot including wreck vehicles... but also trying to include stairs in a CM building
  13. Mean that some FO can be destroy, depending that the choice of the modder ? If I take a crate object to replace for exemple a car, but cannot be when I choose a fountain for exemple ? I never thinking about this, but is interresting ! JM

  15. And you Harry, Which blender version you would suggest like I said to @Lucky_Strike I have install the vers 2.83 2.92 and nothing happend when I use the append command to the old vers 2.79b ? I propose that you take the BG building in your hand you have more knowledge in this way and were already working with buildings at differents level this is for me a headache My BG would be a simple candy eyes without the possibilies and properties that have a building, and more if I want to starting now with a new blender version, learning again new shortcuts and change my behaviour in a new blender world, also that I discover for short "the nodes", so I have bread enough for Winter. So I would suggest and ask you , that you build it in the way that you want and in this way, integrate the properties, that me I cannot for the time create. True I never think about, is also because the procedure is more long and when you forget something you cannot export yours meshes, in mdr, also that I take the habit to working quick with the old ver. Which blender version you would suggest? I have added the 2.83 and 2.92 only to test it, I was working on a model and save as blend in the new vers, but when I try to use the append command for different things meshes materials...and all the long list, nothing happend in the old ver and nothing appear so what I am doing wrong ? I think the last vers. is the 3.0, using a fresh version will be better of course. Are you already working with the last one for your mdr nature? JM

You have some Knowledges Harry also and there are some guys that already make some scripts, so they can coding, like Butchi Artkin en Cie, when I see the lot of codes I would like really to understand more about, I guess Python or c+ or c++.... but not sure and this is why I dont know where I have to starting I think coding is the base to understand how its work ! A script of a new version of Blender will also very help us. JM

I´d never digged deeper into that since I´m completely noob for animation type stuff. same to me this is why I would like to try animations and scripts and I am a little more further in knowledges but for scripts have to learn Python... I made also some research with mds files, they were used for another old game "Wolfenstein Castel"... JM
  22. yes .ani refer on the net to mouse animations, like mds for cd dvd music and sofw like Alcohol Demon tools, or whatever...but there is another kind of ani and mds function that BF use for theirs files. We have to wait probably 20 years more that somebody make a new script in Blender Phyton to have an addon for mds or ani files, like we have now with mdr files, that we never believe before, to have the possibilities to open it ! JM
  23. You mean infantry animation files I guess? Yes this one and I dont find a way to open it, many forums, talking about anim on blender or whatever, but not with the CM anim game extension, a little like mds files, so I stay in darkness for the time...   24. @RockinHarry sorry to disturb you but I take the oportunity to talk to you ! I was checking in the forum and the CMMODs who was making a change of animations in CM and I found you ! I was searching in the net, but dont find one untill now. I would like to trying to make some change but only for myself probably, I will not be good enough to share it... Can you pls give me some advices and eventual the sofw to open this kind of files ? I was trying to send you a pm but this doesn t work. Thanks in advance ! JM
