JM Stuff

I use : Paint when I need to do something quick. Gimp when I need to do something in details. PS when I need to do things that Gimp and Paint is not able to do. Greenfish icons when I will be sure to convert a BMP file in the correct 24bits because sometimes also with PS I have some problems I don't know why.

Just saying ...don't talk to you specially Damian45 but in general rule of modders. I really appreciated your job and now yours comments about myself, when we love the details we put always a little more love in what we do.

Agree with you Erwin I prefer also to buy the CM games in Battlefront, only that sometimes the price is so different that you can not avoid to fall in the temptation, this was the case for me with CMBS. I could wish only that Steam Battlefront and Sidlerine make "a deal" to keep all keys CM games buying to them without restrictions because sometimes is really heavy to introduce the good one, only now with the ver 4.0 with all the pack are without problems and this is a good progress.

I am not really for modern war but I have to recognized that you @Damian45 make always good job with uniforms. I wish only that refering to CMSF more nations like Sadam Iraqi and also specials forces invasion of Kuwait, will be present on the battlefield, also more nation of the Gulf war but also before like Iran Irak war, with the Syrian from SF it's possible to created something. I don't talk to you specially Damian45 but in general rule of modders. I like also very much the mod of (sorry don't remember the name JMDDs) ?? uniforms mods. They were also very nice mixed ones. WHen mods are not on the CMMODs is difficult to remember where to find it back sorry...

I see lot of meshes from sketchup is sometimes difficult to regroup correctly and convert and in mdr is sometimes the hell, I will have a view also on, in case I can help ! EDIT with witch one you want to replace it ?

Ah ok, I was thinking the number are the digit in the keyboard ok now is more clear. But can you save all positions or you have always to make all manipulations ? Playing with X and w keys ?

Sorry to come back to this place @chuckdyke but "I have a problem" to find the correct position see the screeen below ! On the first screen I try to have approximatively the view that can have the gunner or the commander of the tank ! The second screen show in the view loock (tab), the changing view that I have when the vehicle have to move or to shot... Is there a possibility to save the first view in the view lock using tab, with a key shortcut from the keyboard F1, F2 or whatever of a personal choice...to keep the same position when I click again on the tab key ? like I would be somebody in the turret and like, I would be in the first person shooter mode, and move myself with the tank when the vehicle is on move ? Just saving the position like the first screen but in view lock and apply the "shortcut key" everytime for every tanks or squads ? and not when I press again the tab key that I come again in a view like the second screen ? I dont know if this will be understanding ??

Strange also to have the reflect to use the shortcuts or mouse buttons, that you use in Blender or whatever 3D programs, and wonder why this doesn t work more, but realise that you are in a CM game, and not on your 3D environnement !!

I prefer also using the space key with the pop up menu for differents kind of commands, in fact I think if we could hidding this 6 buttons menus, or manage the opacity, we could perhaps have a better view of the background of the field, but not sure about this ?? I will make some tests with a background menu with less opacity !!

Time to change a little my habit and starting to do something different, so I would also test some...
