  1. Looks great! I don't see the MP44 listed and the King Tiger seems to be missing it's passenger capacity.
  2. Thanks for posting the AAR Fizou. It's good to see the battle from the other side. I could have sworn that my guns were spotted after firing the first rounds. Guns 2 and 5 were moved to those locations after set-up. This was my first CMPzC battle and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good to part of the bigger picture.
  3. If those riders die as easily as the halftrack gunners (should be even easier as their whole body is exposed) it might be worth taking them out.
  4. Wow! The definitive work on German helmets. Everything you ever needed. What happened to the one with the red emblem? Looking forward to your GI and CW helmets....and Russian.
  5. I'm happy about it too. Thanks for adding it.
  6. Looks great Saferight. Thanks for adding the bread strap one. I actually like to see a mix of new and faded. Unleash the dogs!
  7. Here's an AAR from officers of the 823rd TD Battalion recorded a few weeks after the Dec 19th German attack on Stoumont Belgium. It supports the lack of flexibility comments from others. There were a total of eight 3" guns, a 90mm, and four 57mm ATGs defending the town. They knocked out 1 Panther. "About 0500 Hours German armor, led by a Mark V tank and infantry launched a determined attack on Stoumont. The early morning darkness was intensified by a heavy fog which made it impossible to see through the telescopic sights in the towed 3” guns. Although a request was made of the infantry for mortar flares to assist observation at sighting targets, this request was denied. With foot troops the lead tank moved along the main highway leading to Stoumont until it reached the first mine barrier at which time the tank personnel with the aid of flashlights removed first mines. Private Sanchez threw a hand grenade at these Germans and their return fire from automatic weapons drove Pvt Brinkoetter from the .30 cal. machine gun with which he was about to open fire, wounding him slightly. The tank then moved through the mines flanking N°1 gun on its right and as the gun could not fire on the tank or move to positions from which it could fire, the crew was forced to withdraw. The tank continued its advance, turning off the road to the North, and then driving West parallel to the main highway until N°2 gun was flanked and its crew forced to retire. At this time N°3 gun adjusted its position so that it could cover the main road junction and N°5 moved to the alternate position where it covered the North bank of the highway and road junction. The Mark V returned to the highway and moved slowly West until it reached the road junction, where it was fired upon N°3 gun. No damage to the tank was done as all shots ricocheted off the front of the glacier plate. The tank then opened up with machine gun and 75mm HE knocking out the 3” gun. At about 0730 hours with light conditions improving the tank edged forward and came within range of N°5 gun and a 90mm AAA gun on the right flank. Both opened fire at the same time and the tank burned. By this time enemy armor had left the main highway and was attempting to flank the town from the South and North. Enemy infantry small arms fire upon N°4 and crew forced the crew to withdraw. N°6 gun became engaged in a fire fight and after holding infantry off for some time with small arms fire the German tank suddenly appeared around the South West corner of the cemetery and knocked out the 3” gun with HE. This tank then continued West between gun N° 6 & 7 automatically flanking and coming into the rear of 7 & 8 guns which were unable to swing around for their protection. During this action fire from tanks and large caliber assault guns had been moderate. After all guns had been neutralized and friendly infantry was withdrawing from the town at about 0930 hours, instructions were given to withdrew (at Remouchamps) in all vehicles that could be removed."
  8. I have found a few 1:25K maps of the area I used for my Malmedy and Stoumont maps. Unfortunately they came from various sources. Here are a few sites used: http://www.wwii-photos-maps.com/ http://www.simmonsgames.com/research/authors/GermanyHeerGeneralstab/Germany25/TextGerman.html Found some good ones with overlays digging through the 30th ID site http://www.oldhickory30th.com/Maps.htm I can email you what I have so far if you are interested. Let me know if you uncover any other good sources. Like kohlenklau, I'm looking forward to any maps created for Belgium.
  9. Good to hear. One I would like to see is with the bread strap which was used on helmets. You also showed an image of the ss helmet with the red shield emblem but I didn't see that in your ss mix. Thx
  10. Saferight - Helmets are looking great, although I don't see them on CMMODs anymore?
  11. Speaking of the Bulge and Skorzeny. December 21st west of Malmedy....Kampfgruppe Z on the move (scenario WIP)
  12. I have my Malmedy (West) map and scenario pretty much done: Here's a preview of my Stoumont master map. Working on a smaller starting scenario for it: The well known Sanatorium:
  13. Looking forward to seeing the full cmbn Bulge mod. Here's a few screenshots from my upcoming scenario about the PanzerBrigade 150 morning assault to capture the Warche bridge near Malmedy. As this is my first scenario it will probably need some testing from volunteers. Also, first time posting pics...here goes (fingers crossed): The Germans will have the historical mix of modified Panthers and US vehicles.
  14. These look great in game. Thanks for the effort.
  15. Looking great Fuser. I like the less washed out cammo look. PS - Check your PMs
  16. Yes, it makes a huge difference in the feel of the game. It is a lot tougher to do in CMX2. PS Fuser - I sent you another PM. thx
  17. Looks great Fuser. I sent you a PM with a question.
  18. Fantastic! Thanks for all the mods....I think I have them all.
  19. What? Did I miss the deadline? In the spirit of the Bulge (and the fact that MG is taking up my limited free time) I think it only appropriate to wait until at least Dec. 16th. My scenarios take place on the 19th and 21st, so maybe that's more appropriate.
  20. Looking forward to another one of your great campaigns.
  21. Those look great. Thanks for pulling them together. Love the last one. Bob Marley would be proud! Have to work it into my scenarios. PM Sent.
  22. I agree on the distance numerals. No need. Looking forward to seeing them. I'm almost ready to recruit a few testers for my Bulge scenarios. We can add my scenarios to your Bulge pack. We probably need to wait for most to get through the MG campaigns/scenarios.
