  2. Hey Tony, Delete the ones you have. I just went and renamed them. They are only for specific usage in a scenario with mods.
  3. You need both. The main folder of WARSAW mods is at the CMMODS. Then in my goodybox are my scenarios and a small set of mods I made for the overall project.
  4. Thanks guys. Day 2. just woke up. FEELING BETTER. the body aches seem to have disappeared! Last night I felt painful throat with congestion but I got up and gargled a long time and it seems gone for now. Wife is making a big crockpot of turkey soup!   5. My scenario/campaign release timeline is delayed by now learning I have COVID... I had Vax 1 and 2 back in the summer but now have tested + for COVID. Amazingly, today I had a good idea on improving scenario 2 of 3 in my play as Soviets CMRT Barbarossa Campaign. @Faucci Thanks Dude!!

As a scenario author, you COULD have a desire to show a whitewashed vehicle that was then in a snowstorm and like in the movie "Battle of the Bulge", a fresh chocolate cake had been sent from the US. The panzer then smashed the cake and that is the muddy part in the tracks? [snow whitewash muddy] hahahaha
  7. There are many, many modtagged bmp's that come with the stock games. Like discussed in this thread, they are "summoned for display" by certain settings in the scenario editor by the scenario author: weather, ground condition, the date setting, the location, appearance of the units... But there is the modtag text file import button where you can customize it all. This is where we can try to have certain signs/buildings for a certain battle. Like in your great stuff! Yes, definitely the curious player or scenario author can/should test and see if it appears as desired. But sometimes there is still a wildcard of what the human player has in their z folder which is not possible to always outsmart. 57 different German helmets for example or 19 different T-34's. AFAIK: no commas in bracketed modtags. always lower case. In a double modtag, I have never seen the order to ever matter. [a b] = [b a] In the original CMRT @Aragorn2002 there was not any autumn looking trees summoned by date setting so we had to modtag them but NOW it is there automatically.
  8. Looking at a modtag text file...one of those seemingly odd long ones...no brackets. Remember this is not the actual bmp modtag...this was the way to summon a certain display for a certain scenario. africa wadi saltmarsh sidi usfieldjacket wetmud I had a bunch of stuff tweaked and modtagged [africa] I had a road mod with [wadi] I had some terrain mods modtagged as [saltmarsh] and some modtagged as [wetmud] I had some Sherman's modded and modtagged as [sidi] Somebody's US uniform mod with modtag [usfieldjacket]....papagoat's maybe? It all displayed fine BACK THEN!!!!
  9. Memory Lane.. I think that was me back in 2015 with CMRT winter mod. [gc] was the great coat mod and [guards gc] was the great coat mod summoning some 2nd variation.
  10. I guess back in 2016 there were no other modtags to conflict with my work. Now it has issues...EDIT: I just have to change my modtags and capture the season aspect...
  11. SInce way back...these are all my CMFI modtag text files. Some were used in scenarios with MULTIPLE modtags summoning the appearance of modded stuff. This is just CMFI... The cropped titles are scenario briefings I did for my CMFI scenarios... Some bmp categories have only 1 style and no 2nd or 3rd version. Some have 2nd and 3rd versions with modtags using "scenario settings modtags". So, when a scenario has a "scenario setting modtag" and you want something else you made yourself then you must counteract that with a double modtag on your bmps.

  13. My earlystug mod currently blends the 251 ausf c "stummel" that has an ACTUAL short 75 with the Stug3 body shape. Pluses are the actual performance of the short 75 but sadly the minuses are the VERY thin armor.. crew can't close... If the scenario designer understands these issues then the minuses can be somewhat mitigated. And since that is most likely me...we should be able to use the mod in an enjoyable manner. I will keep studying the options for a "Gen 2" and maybe improve it... I have a Wittman book and can study it to see what type tactical situations occurred. Maybe he never took a hit? I don't know
  14. It is all good. I took my skin into Blender and modded it to be a little thicker. Hahaha. I am at the airport headed off for a vacation with the Mrs. I have my CM notebook where I will discreetly continue work in our crazy hobby.

  19. Gary, after some bourbon, I must reply. Dude, we are neighbors in the same street. The government is fuggin BFC. When you want some improvement out on the street and see me out there making a speed limit sign out of plywood and sharpies...AND you think it is sub par and piss on me for doing it...that hurts my feelings. OF COURSE OF COURSE we'd all love for BFC to crank out the real deal and in 2 seconds make the 1942 tanks happen. They probably already have it all on paper. THEY ARE BUSINESSMEN NOW. For free, 0.00 cents, I offer some admittedly lame ass amateur versions to entertain us. Don't eyeball it. Don't download it. Fine. A few folks think it is an AOK stopgap solution to what we may never get from BFC. This is all deja-effing-vu. In late 2015 I and some good fellows made CMRT WInter Mod from bubblegum and banding wire. It held the test for me for 6 effing years until BFC finally pumped out CMRT FR. Please give some of my stuff a chance! I always joke and ask that people squint when they play my scenarios and mods. It may be the only Barbarossa you see for 7 years... No more bourbon left... December 16th 05:35, the “Ghost Front” erupts in a maelstrom of noise and violence as Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein begins. The Rollbahn D Campaign contains 35 linear scenarios built as historically accurate as I’ve been able to achieve. You control the fortunes of KG Peiper, SG Knittel, and Panzer Brigade 150, along with elements from KG Hansen, KG Sandig, and the 3. Fallschirmjäger-Division. Boy did this project snowball! The Campaign begins with a choice. Either starting at the very beginning or on Day 3 of the offensive. The latter will be an easier route as you’ll have not suffered any losses to your core units. I’ve included here what it takes to progress within the Campaign as not every engagement is balanced. The scenarios range from small to medium to Ben Hur like epics. I’ve made minor changes to the Day 1-2 scenarios based on the feedback from the Rollbahn D Part 1 Campaign.   22. Thanks Gary. I am real happy you liked it. I loved making it and feel the same way as you about that painting. I am sure it can be expanded into something involving a counterattack. Maybe even a mini-campaign? That would be real cool. THE STUG: It is NOT perfect but as damn close as I can get it I think. The idea came to me how to make it in Blender the other day just out of the blue! I was excited to see it come to life and made some tweaks here and there as I popped in and out of Blender and CMRT. I promise I will continue to study it and see what else might be doable to improve it. The PanzerIIF is not going as well with clearing the hurdles of modelling the 3D. I know it just takes me time.
