Strange way to kill moles, isn´t it? -

Kampfgruppe (Screens)

Sweet, a little overexposed and burnt to my liking but with a great atmosphere, diffuse glow sure makes them shine. Good job! -

Umm, in that case, I´ll leave you alone with the task, International calls are way too expensive, hehe. -
[WIP-PREVIEW] Tanks a Lot's Normandy buildings

Just wonderful. I can only guess the amount of work this needs,....take your time, and if you need any help, or a final push, just phone me -
I took some pebbles out of the fords. Stock ford texture looked nearly as gravel filled terrain, so I created a mixture of wet sand and scattered pebbles instead.

I could, I will. No problem. I am thinking about adding many different optional grass textures too, since that´s what seems to be the least liked. I am in the middle of creating 5 big posters for my job advertising, so modding will be slower this weekend.
-
Ok, I get the idea, that kind of grass and a new marsh, hehe. Ready to mod again! Regading what you say about not being able to please everybody ("suddenly everybody knows how Normandy dirt looks like" and that stuff), that´s not something I take into account when I start modding, that would make a slave of other´s opinions. The aim is not to please but to enjoy, I can enjoy green grass, yellow grass, and even purple grass, that´s why I can go on modding. @ Wodin: no problem, I will include it in the next "Add-on Pack". Edited: Is this the color you are looking for? Would you like a perfect lawn texture instead? (That green looks nuclear to me, hehe) Pic took ingame.

DO NOT move the entire Options folder within "Texture Pack"!! Option bitmaps are just that, optional BMPs to further customize your game, not a mod itself. So choose if you want to overwrite any official bitmaps (the ones from Texture Pack) with the optional ones.
-
BTW, I would try to mod buildings now, but lookin at TanksaLot buildings, i feel like a MS Paint amateur. I trully value the amazing work he is doing. Signed: a modder waiting eagerly for a mod.
-
Well, A BIG THANK YOU to YOU.
-
@Erwin: That will work too. @Hister: I understand your point of view, but there is not an unique valid point as to what looks better, is it ? That´s why I will make more options...but the Mod it´s the way it is for a simple reason...I Like it that way
-
Regarding "Options" subfolder: That´s it. @Wodin: I will make an add-on Pack with optional textures in the following week. Greener grass, different mud, cobblestone, etc.

The Road and railroads changes in my previous Pack were just a light modification to the Saturation and Lightness in Stock Textures (I don´t feel proud of them now, so I didn´t include them in Version 2, use them if you like them, of course). The reason why the Repository version it´s 3 files, it´s the 75 MB limitation when using normal ZIP or RAR files. Both versions include exactly the same.

Interesting point there Harry....I tried to mod the original file as close as possible to the original concept (texture, that is). When making a map in the editor, if you click "Mud" you want some mud there , hehe. There are so many options and variables I could make that this mod would be 1GB (if I was to please everybody´s perceptions). But I agree.

Don´t worry ricroma Just select the FIRST .rar (Aris Texture Pack Part 1.rar ) and unrar it as you would with a single rar file, the remaining two will automatically unrar too. If you have any problems just post them here, as we say in my country, nobody is born wise.
-
I think I didn´t use bold text the first time....
-
Umm,.... 1. DOWNLOAD ALL THREE FILES FIRST,...DON¨T EXTRACT ANYTHING UNTIL THEY ARE DONE! 2. Once you have ALL THREE in a single folder, extract the first file (Aris Texture Pack part 1) and all other files in the remaining .rars (part 2 and part 3 , that is) will be extracted automatically.

Sound still isn´t ok, but the video was sure entertaining to watch, thanks! -
THANKS PeterPanzer!! I will finish the 251/3, no worries, it´s the last one of a 4 month modding madness for me. When I look at my Mod folder (Photoshop templates, BMPs, Brushes, and that stuff, I can hardly believe that I made them all in just 3 months and have a girlfriend who hasn´t said goodbye to me yet!! ).
-
Isn´t there a Gridded Ground folder in the "Options" directory? Copy the three files, paste them in "Texture Pack" and overwrite.

I am trying to upload the Mod to the Repository in 3 Parts (Rar format). This will avoid the problem with the error messages when extracting the previews.
