Anybody who recommends 1830 because they understand Black Scholes option pricing has a high chance of being a difficult customer.
I have:
CMBO (3 copies - one with a real printed manual)
CMBB 2 copies
CMAK 3 copies
CMBN - just updated to v 4.03 having not played it for about 5 years as I'm no good at it.
But basically I have had 20 years of happily blowing stuff up - and when I did have some trouble Shullen### helped me out.
So, I am a happy customer. But i still can't win "Cats Chasing Dogs"

Oh well, at least this is giving me something to do whilst I slowly download the files to install version 4.03

Not playing a human being is the primal thing for me. I can't stand humans who play wargames. I gave up playing wargames forty years ago because all I saw was old men arguing about what was or was not fair or realistic. Of course to a teenager the old men were probably all of thirty.
So PC wars gaming when I discovered it in the time of Sid Meier's Gettysburg was great. Good enough AI for an hour or two of history games and no bitching because my favourite tank hit a mine. Reload, replay have fun.

I think it is rubbish.
I don't recall reading lots of people saying the old forum needed changing.
I liked that link on an earlier post back to the old old site. Yes, CMBO still my game of choice on a Windows 8 netbook (Asus T100).
