  1. Normal maps create a mock (pretend) 3d effect. Turn them on and of in-game by using Alt-R.
  2. Some of you asked for them. Some of you will get them. Includes: Infantry - Mainly Brown Guards - Mixed Green/Brown Cavalry - Green/Blue Crew - Black Backpacks - Green/Brown Soviet faces - mostly skin colour DOWNLOAD: http://s3.amazonaws.com/cmmods-zips.greenasjade.net/CMRT/Veins_Russians_V1.brz Guards Infantry Cavalry Crew
  3. The Tiger... I don't know. I'm just playing around. I don't have the patience for vehicle modding. Maybe if there was a plain Tiger/Panther around...
  4. Coming soon (ish). Tagged 3rd SS Panzer Totenkopf. Tagged [tot-inf]. For scenario makers.
  5. If you want them I'll polish them up a tad and put them on CMMODS. I have modded all three sets and tank crew. Normal inf are more brown. Guards are more mixed, and the cav are mostly green (and blue obviously), tank crew wear black. Re: Aris' vehicles - you could just run an action batch using curves and saturation to put a little more colour back in. 2 minute job.
  6. Most of my everything I have modded to a greater or lesser extent. Only thing I don't like to mod are the vehicles, although I do merge Aris' mods with the stock ones to create a somewhere between the two hybrid.
  7. Yes, and... er yes. There's an oakleaf A and a mouse grey one.
  8. I have tweaked the reds already. They were pretty good to start with however. Didn't plan to release them as they aren't that different from stock ones.
  9. Totenkopf ss work in progress. Using tags for the first time. Is it possible to use more than 1 tag in a scenario? It would be handy to have a separate tag for the helmet & boots instead of having to re-tag them for different skins (e.g a pea dot and a field green set).
  10. Probably. This page is great if you don't know it already: http://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=features&file=view&artid=4012
  11. I used the stock as a base (although heat richochet has the only stock bits left), then dropped photo reference over the top, then photoshopped/painted bits in and out and then married the colouring. Then I made some normal maps. I don't think I used any bits of yours, excellent though they are.
  12. £30.38p donated (or $50). Well worth it.
  13. On my PC I put scenarios in: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Red Thunder\Game Files\Scenarios There is a folder in Game Files for Campaigns as well. Edit: Filthy ninjas.
  14. You need to delete the file: 'beam.bmp' in the tracers folder. It shouldn't be there. I was messing around and left it there by mistake. I've updated the file to return them to how they are in my previous mod: http://s3.amazonaws.com/cmmods-zips.greenasjade.net/CMRT/Veins_Tracers_V3.1.brz
  15. No, the old one is as good as it can get.
  16. Yeah, I think that was a modified Aris one before I redid it from scratch.
  17. Yeah, forgot to include them. The changes are barely noticeable anyway but I've uploaded them to cmmods, see first post. And explode away. Use what you want, dump what you don't.
  18. Glad you like them. They are a real pain in the backside to get right, AND look like they belong in the game. Photorealism isn't always the best solution.
  19. Version 3 (I think) of my effects mod released on the RT section: https://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?p=1526764#post1526764

  21. V3 of my flames/tracers/smoke/muzzle flash/explosions mod. Differences from previous versions: Smoke is new. Flames redone from scratch. Explosions redone. Muzzle flashes tweaked. Oh there's also some sexy hit decals in there but I forgot to get any pics. Tracers tweaked just a smidge (barely noticeable). (uploaded separately.) There shouldn't be any PC performance impact. They work in all CM x2 games. 22. Not easily. It is a 'GLSL textureless classic 3D noise'. Therefore there is not an image based texture but a noise map. Why they did this rather than use something along the lines of a consistently forward facing sprite (along the lines of the tank muzzle flash) I don't know. I'm sure they had their reasons. Current effect is a tad jarring to my eyes.
