  1. I'm setting up a scenario and my M4A1-MMC's are showing as not deployed, yet they're available to the platoon HQ (& higher) for fire missions. I thought these things were supposed to be mobile artillery or can the crews also dismount the tubes?
  2. Yep; once again I'm seeing this also (CMBS v1.04). It's a mixed bag as not all two story buildings have the 'floating roof syndrome'. I wonder what the original inception date of this map was? Anybody done an original test map in the editor yet to see if this affects new maps or old maps only?
  3. Dare I bring up the M21 halftrack mortar carrier, whilst we're at it? Granted; the White Motor Co. only made @110 of those puppy's in '44. (I haven't had a chance to look in the Editor for this unit, yet)
  4. Well; all this is interesting, but back to the subject at hand. I'm guessing the TO&E isn't something we can just plug an additional vehicle into like a mod. There's probably a table somewhere in the code that has to be updated via a patch. However, is it too late to be plugged into CMFB?
  5. WooHoo; new patch v3.12! Got the new Battle Pack & put together a Quick Battle in France on late September. Disappointed to find that the M8 HMC is still missing from the TO&E. While the newly available M12 packs an awesome punch, it’s no substitute for the agile M8 as close support to the infantry. So when will we ‘Patch the Patch’?
  6. Actually; the M8 Scott HMC only shows up in the CMBN editor but not in the Quick Battle purchase screen. That’s being fixed, right??? (A closed turret M8?, couldn’t find that puppy on WikiPedia) P.S.S. Standing by with PayPal, ready to Rock-N-Roll
  7. Missing Firefly Commanders - Any Updates - Any Work Arounds?? I've only recently noticed this bug, has anybody tried a clean install (something I try to avoid). It's a pain in the posterior to have to purchase a large formation and then strip everything but the HQ & the Fireflys out just to gain fully functional units.
  8. Ingame I noticed they are modeled with a pintle hook. Next stop, You Tube & Google. I looked at a bunch of vids & pix of both the M7 and 'Roo's. As near as I could tell it was kind of a random thing, some did and some didn't have the standard pintle hook. I didn't see a single pix of a 'Roo towing something. Maybe it was just SOP to not tow guns with a 'Roo. It would seem to be a bit of a bear for gun crew to load all of their kit into such a high sided vehicle (compared to say, a Loyd carrier).
  9. Okay Grogs, here's one for ya. Why can't I load an AT gun (either 6 or 17 Pdr) onto a Priest Kangaroo? They've the passenger capacity for sure.
  10. No, no; my mac does just fine decompressing stuff, it's just that there is no 'button' to press on the screen for the 'Box' website. Left or right clicking does not initiate a download. I think I'll just wait until it's posted to the Repository.
  11. Well; whatever 'Box' is I can't get it to download, see the following, I get.... "We're sorry, but we can't preview .rar files. Please download this file using the button below." There is no button below (Firefox v37.02) Halp!!
  12. If you find yourself 'in the dark' while delaying setup, merely save the game & re-launch your save. Voila! the clock is reset.
  13. In Soviet Russia: Motoring (all forms), is full contact sport! Surely they had a dash-cam.
  14. Okay, my buddy started a tiny QB & I was careful not to choose anything with a flamethrower. So far 20+ turns in and it's working smoothly. (He's installing the Vehicle Pack as we speak, we'll see how that works out)
  15. Well; I'm beginning th think this is no longer an issue. I've done a couple of test maps; started a coule of quick battles & started a couple of scenarios. Next, I added some two story buildings back into the Valley of Death scenario. So far I haven't noticed a single wonky building.

  18. Thanks Peeps; I'm now up to date. It would be nice in future modules (NATO?, hint,hint ). For now, I'll just patiently await for CMSF to be brought up to engine 3.0.
  19. Flamethrowers?? Hmmm; not deliberately, but a lot of units now have them organically, I'm guessing.
  20. My PBEM war-game buddy and I are both upgraded to CMBN e3.0, v3.12. However; I start a quick battle and when I send him my quick battle set-up phase (turn #3) it tells him he needs the Vehicle Pack (which I have, he doesn’t). I thought it would work if I didn’t pick any of the ‘Funnies’ from the pack. Any workarounds? How about he starts the quick battle & sends it to me?
  21. Going to do a test map and another Quick Battle map to see if this problem is still around first. I think I might edit the 'Valley of Death' scenario and add some two story buildings back in. WooHoo, Film At Eleven (hours/days/weeks/whatever).
  22. Well; at least the scenario is fixed. Now I'm wondering, has anybody submitted a ticket to the help desk on this, or do the Devs. already have this on their list?
  23. Are the U.S.Marines Stryker’s the only ones with the 25mm Bushmaster chaingun turret (or the Bushmaster II for that matter)? I just noticed this when setting up a quick battle. I seem to remember them from Shock Force.
  24. Wow; now I'm confused, mind telling me how you got that updated scenario into my machine? Was it present on the v1.01 patch installer? Due to a separate issue I has to re-install the game on the 9th then on the 10th I downloaded to patch again to be on the safe side. When I first played 'Valley of Death', it was before you relplaced the buildings. After the install, only the QB map had the problem. When I get a minute, I'll see if I have a save of the old game.
  25. It appears that the offending buildings in the scenario have been converted to single story structures. Whatever works for the designer is just fine with me. I have also opened the map (Huge-Novohurivke-open-#287) in the editor twice and both times the second storys were missing. Now working on converting a copy into a training map and repeated saves haven't cured the problem either. The offending buildings appear intact at a distance or camera level four, but zoom in and the walls vanish. It's really no biggie, since the Devs. will no doubt straighten things out in the next patch. Otherwise it's a really nice map, shows lots of hard work.
