  1. Greetings All; After my iMac Quad (mid 2011) dying last year, I replaced it with a Mac Mini M2 pro, now running iOS Sonoma v14.4.1. I’ve managed to get one game up & running (via Rosetta??), Red Thunder v2.12, game engine v4. I seem to recall using my v4 key to unlock it & seems to run just fine after a few Quick Battle tests. However I can’t seem to activate any of the rest of my collection. For instance; launching Fortress Italy v2.11 it gives me the Combat Mission Error Handler stating that there is a ‘Finger Print Mismatch’, error code 209. None of my keys seem to work. Am I going to need a new key(s) to activate each one of my collection? Thanks In Advance; Tankgeezer
  2. AllRightyThen! (carnage ensues) Damn! Little rusty here.
  3. Is my R.T. splash screen missing something? Recently upgraded to the F&R module but there seems to be a gap in the icon spacing in the lower left. (see attached) Been a long time since I've played this puppy. I seem to recall faithfully upgrading all vehicle packs & misc.
  4. Yup, I've already got it. (it's been awhile since I played this game, obviously). Now to upgrade with the Rome To Victory module. Thanks
  5. Like the NATO symbol for barbed wire with two stars at the bottom?
  6. What is the icon for the Carl Gustav module on the splash screen?
  7. Bullseye D.F. I was also just longing for the days past when in the editor you could adjust the loadout of individual tanks. As I recall you couldn't go completely nuts there either, with a limit on tungsten rounds for instance. The A.I. seems to do a good job of offering the appropriate TO&E for the time frame chosen. And yes; 'rarity' can make you yell at the screen on occasion, but it's vital for accuracy.
  8. Howza'bout being able to adjust the loadout of your supply truck platoon. It seems to be available in limited form for the Axis side in both the Quick Battle and Scenario Editor purchase screens, but nothing for the Allies Of course; total volume per vehicle would be fixed but the type & balance of items would be adjustable, increasing an item would result in a list of the remaining items to be adjusted downward. Everything would be date sensitive of course (Proximity Fuses, anyone?). Whose on board with this concept?
  9. Speaking of railroad tracks, are we ever going to get actual road tiles with legit grade crossings in the editor? Heretofore I've just been substituting standard road tiles in the rail line to simulate a crossing. This to reflect that a grade crossing would inflict no damage to any vehicle crossing it.
  10. I just noticed in a Military.com article that the Stryker is getting a 30mm upgrade. There’s still time to get it into the next patch? (Hope,Hope,Hint,Hint)
  11. Just curious, were proximity fuses ever utilized in the 4.5" rocket artillery? Given the Americans' penchant for '155MM Recon', it seems like a swarm of airbursts from a Xylophone battery would just about sterilize the strike zone.
  12. Do we have a timeline yet on CMFB’s first BattlePack?
  13. Well crumb. Back in the day we used a marine dome style compass on my Dad’s Tolleycraft Sedan (Lake Powell). The other type still confuses me to this day.
  14. Is there a compass mod out there whereby the compass rose rotates instead of the arrow?
  15. No, unfortunately I'm several turns past that incident.
  16. But my boys were locked into the Veteran mode in the setup, which is why I was so surprised. The Chaffee displayed the 'pop smoke' indicator for just an instant, then went dead. If I read correctly, crews were are now more likely to button up quicker when under fire.
  17. My Chaffee squares away at some infantry occupying a two story building and begins to receive some small arms fire (it’s unbuttoned). A couple of rounds ‘ricochet into the opening’ (commanders hatch). Nobody is hit but the crew bails out anyway and the tank shows knocked out with no indication in the damage panel what got hit. Not real sure how two rifle rounds could K.O. a tank or is this just the worst luck in the world? Hope this doesn’t turn out to be a bug exclusive to the Chaffee.
  18. BullsEye, Pak40!! If I remember correctly, that's exactly how it seemed to work in CMx1.
  19. And; I might add, still keep the one-click 360º!
  20. I can still remember the first demo on the very first Combat Mission game. It was a revelation compared to everything else out there, back in the day. When was that, anyway?
  21. Hear, Hear, Shoot & Scoot I say. Bring it back (along with the auto-180º target arc).
  22. I may be old, but at least I'm slow. Finally dawned on me as to why the upgrade was breaking the game. When the installer originally runs it put each game into its own folder in the Application folder (Mac). I move all games into a sub-folder called Game Thing. The game needs to be in the root(?) level folder for the updater to function. For some reason I drug only the app back out & ran the updater against it (which promptly broke everything). The updater needs to see the entire game folder in order to function. Yup!; 'ToolTimeTim' finally gets it right, I now have functioning CMFB, CMBN, CMRT & CMBS running the v4 game engine.
  23. Hah!, if only. To condense the whole exercise in stupidity down, it went as follows. My Subie is up on jack stands to replace the RF HalfShaft & the lower ball joints. I jack up the hub to see if I succeeded in loosening the ball joint. Squatting on roll-around stool next when the rotor spits the jack out. The wheel studs smacked the inside of my left knee on the way down. As anybody knows, there’s a huge amount of energy stored in those front strut springs. My work pants had a triple layer of canvas on the knees so I ended up with a nasty road rash and severe deep tissue trauma. Good news was that the tendons weren’t touched.
  24. Well, I’m out of the hospital and as ornery as ever. The good news is that my leg and knee (and kneecap) was not broken, but it’s going to be ‘Walk Like a Pirate’ for the next couple of months. Of course my Mojo helpdesk ticket (#14533531) expired due to inactivity. I now have both CMRT & CMFB ‘bricked’ as it were but am holding off on a new ticket till I get some feedback over in the CMFB Tech forum. Thanks once again to John and the boss Steve for their efforts but followup was not to be.
  25. Ahhh, Roger That Houston! OPFOR might ding my trac' but I can still save the mortar.
