  1. It'll really clash with the blue glow of the holographic projector.
  2. Not using business math. A business week begins on Monday. If they announced on the 10th (a Thursday) that it was 6 to 8 weeks, then the first day of the first week would be the following Monday (14th). Calculate that to the 8th week, and then the Friday of that week is the 'deadline'. All of which is moot though, because no one from BattleFront said that it would be 6-8 weeks... it was forumites who guesstimated that timeframe.
  3. Actually, it makes it between April 29th and May 16th 6-8 weeks Fingers crossified.
  4. As much as I'd love it, not a great idea. The first few days are going to be plagued with problems and keep them really busy. It would be disastrous to leave for a long weekend after a release. The week after makes a lot more sense. Although that sucks, because I'll be away on business myself. Eurk.
  5. Theoretically, in order to meet an 'end of 'April release target, it would have to be gold already, or the latest by tomorrow. Normally, it would be 4-6 weeks before release, but since this game will not be shipping to retail outlets they don't need as much lead up time and 2 weeks would be enough (assuming the boxes and manuals are already ready.)
  6. We are halfway to a Montreal Canadiens clean sweep for the cup? Sweet.
  7. We can go back and forth about this all day, but in the end, we will make no progress. It is pretty obvious to me that the only solutiopn is for BF to launch CMBFN immediately, with the new E-License scheme in place, and allow us to try it out for ourselves. That should resolve the debate once and for all, no? Can I get an amen?
  8. Very much so, yes. Only with more laser guided missiles and a moustache.
  9. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one of the most weapons on the battlefield... an RCA FOO. I suppose I'll have to wait until the module where the Canucks get added, though.
  10. Wouldn't that violate the Geneva Convention in, like, 17 different ways?
  11. I'm trying out the 1.07 demo, but can't get it to run properly. Vista 32-bit Prememium, all patches, SP1 nvidia 8800GTX, 175.19 drivers HDTV as display, 1360x765 When I run the game, the entire image is shifted to the left. The far left edge of my screen starts with the entire right half of the menu. I see the four buttons for starting a network game through End, but none of the buttons on the left hand side of the menu. Immediately to the right of this, I have a black empty bar that takes up a quarter of the screen, then the last quarter shows the far left hand edge of the menu. Now, if I move my mouse off the far left edge of the screen, and click where I estimate the single player game is, it will actually take me to single player options. I can then click through to start the scenario, which also displays in a similar way. I have tried to change the resolution both in the menu and in the text file to no effect, although it does seem to change the resolution that the game is playing at. Any ideas?
