  8. The whole ingame Menu needs work. There is no sound fader for example, assign hotkey by txt file? C´mon, that was 10 years ago. Why not Ingame like in every other game? Then you can copy the txt, too.

  11. "video card SB Audigy"? My Soundblaser Audigy is from www.creative.com and is a "Sound"card. Maybe you installed a wrong driver?
  12. Its a thing of realism. In the field you only have the exact position of frindlys in the Line of Sight.
  13. If your Hand is one the Keyboad (shift) why not give direct orders with it, too? I personal do not need a right click menu. But if possible to implement, it sould be activeable for they player who want it.
  14. I remapped ALL Keys, (on german Keyboards the original setting is not working), to give the Units direct orders with the Keyboard. Otherwise it isnt playbale for me. And still, HOW OFTEN I left click one sinlge unit, thinking it isnt activated, right click, clicking left again and do a move command... so far so good But, a few secounds later I wounder what the heck is going on with the enemy activity? I moved the whole Squad (double clicked one unit), often into areas under enemy fire. I played hours, but still do this mistake like in the first Mission - pls go a litte more to the RTS standard in the next patch.
  15. With Elite in Realtime I lose not one single tank or men. Evntually its helps you, too. Your advantage is the better Armor of the Tanks. Use the terrain in long range battles. http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/7457/alafiststratxe7.jpg I split the tanks in 3 groups. First take out the enemy tanks in the open in front of you. Then move 2 tanks the hill on the right. Position P2 - wait till the main force of the enemy want to attack, they usually get killed with hits in the flank before they even know where you are. Now you have to wait till the APCs appear in the Pahse Line Charlie, take them out from the same Position, they have no chance to bail. Then you can move to Position P3 and attack the garde Tanks from there. Now you can advance with the other group to P1 and attack them, too. When you get the Stryker brigade, get one group with the javelin to the Observersation Point. Hunt the rest dwon. [ January 25, 2008, 08:33 AM: Message edited by: Andro ]
  16. Have this redrawing if I see the corner of the map. Vista 32 bit, dual core 6600 and Geforce 8800 gts driver 169.25. Bad fame rate all the time, too!

Just completed in v105: Blue Dead: 30 Wounded: 87 Missing: 1 Tank lost: 0 Vehicles lost: 3 Other V. lost: 0 Red Dead: 1299 Wounded: 692 Missing: 462 Tank lost: 60 Vehicles lost: 22 Other V. lost: 87 Total Victory, Veteran. The biggest problem is not the enemy, its the really bad mission design and buged enviroment! Sometimes your troops rush into a building, not seeing 2 or 3 groups of enemeys, and get killed a few min. later. And the bad implementation for geforce 8800 users. Its the most used card, and im still have bad frame rates in the big missions, on Win xp and Vista, but on Vista its unplayable with rendering crashes (freeze) all the time. Some small suggestions like a volume control, fps display, ingame key mapping or resolution control... its nice to have. But get the Game working like it should with the Geforce 8800!   18. I have the doublke click problem every time i play, (fps lag geforce 8800 user). The double click should be setable to "off". If the solution from Euri isnt possible.

  20. Are tehre any improvments for the Geforce 8800? Since the last patch the FPS are better, but I think not as they should without the bug.
  21. Ok, just my 5 cents: After a save and reload I miss the flames und smoke on destroyed vehicles, they are gone. The anti-tank selection weapon bug - already posted, but its the 4. patch and still there... The new immediate stop of the infantry on "hold", this is a great feature but cause another bug: If the troops are bailing out of a vehicle, you have to wait till all are out, or the troops and the vehicle are frozen when hitting hold to early. If you want to attack 3 tanks with 3 anti tank infantry troops, you have a problem. All troops fire at the same time on the same tank (the frist entering the LOS), 2 teams wasting the firepower on the destroyed tank. Only with micro management its possible to stop the anti-tank trooper, or he shoot, in pause, on hold its allways the same. A "hold fire" for heavy weapons would be great (or a goal distribution from right after left). If an enemy tank is on his way, you see his position when he is producing dust - even with no own troops in this area. It would be great if we get an option for an ingame FPS counter (like in every other game) and which rendering mode is active (hardware, software, AA on/off ... ) [ October 06, 2007, 02:40 AM: Message edited by: Andro ]
  22. Hmm, seems as a bug in the game code. But let us wait. Maybe nvidia is responsible for that, too.
  23. Updated forceware to beta 163.67 Tabbing brings nobetter frames. On balanced at Allahs Fist 15 frames, on best 4 frames. Win XP Pro, 8800 GTS, 2 GB Ram
  24. Squad smoke worked today very well in the last mission of the campaing. The enemy was firing from 2 posotions over open field into my flank. The squad moved in the direction the wind drifts the smoke, 50 meters sprint till cover - no man down (loaded the savegame several times).
