M1200 VS-17 signal panel option
If someone is interested in this little option... thanks to SeinfeldRules and panzersaurkrautwerfer for the idea.
it's the very same hull but with a VS-17 signal panel taped on the top.
Please note: all M1200 in game will have that taped on top.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I wonder if this would be deemed reasonable on the M1200. I have set up a second hull with this attached:
could be used as a variation to the original mod.

Kieme(ITA) got a reaction from Kraft in T-72B3 front hull vs M2 25mm cannon
I just did a test and didn't get any frontal penetrations in 5+ minutes of fire.
Distance was 2000 to 1500 meters.
Only a few damage (tracks, targeting).
Next time something strange happens, see if you can save a turn file, or do some screenshots.

Kieme(ITA) reacted to Glubokii Boy in Sir ! We need to commit our RESERVES...
Hello...
-
One thing that i have missed for a long time when designing scenarios is the ability to let the player COMMIT RESERVES if he needs to.
I have come up with an idea that i think works OK (it might not be a new one...).
This idea will 'cost' you as the designer 1 AI-group and 2 AI terrainobjectives (if you have some to spare...)
-
- You will need a reserve location that is shielded from the enemy LOS/LOF
- You will need a 'reaction location' that preferably is somewhere that will see no combat.
-
I am about to finish my work on my first scenario for CMBS - Debaltseve Devils - and will upload this to the repository during the weekend (it should be avaliable early next week i hope).
In this scenario i have used this RESERV idea. The reserves in this scenario will not be avaliable right away but will arrive some time into the scenario and will then be ready to be commited by the player.
If the player chooses to commit those reserves to the battle he will LOSE POINTS and a TOTAL VICTORY will no longer be possible...A victory will still be very doable but not a TOTAL ONE...
If the players advance stalls he will have the OPTION to commit those reserves and instead of a failed mission might be able to achive atleast a minor victory with the primary missiongoals achived...
-
In this mission my reserves will arrive to the rear of my side of the map and the 'reaction location' is located at the very back of the enemies side...
-
-
-
-
My reserves when they arrive...
-
-
-
I think it will be important to make sure that the AI will not be able to see or target the PLAYER RESERVES. This can obvoiusly be done in a number of ways...In this scenario THIS works.

Kieme(ITA) reacted to Jock Tamson in Graphics suck?!!?!?!
Ignore him, he's just pissed at the number of bugs he missed in Beta. Personally I wish they would spend my money on professional testers.

Start on Strikers...
As a first thing I wanted to make a very good wheel (the original one is still very nice); first of all, I doubled the resolution (HD wheel!) of the original file, then I grabbed the pneumatic (and tread) out of a real striker photograph, changed the colors a bit, and "mounted" it on the original rim.
Still needs weathering and maybe a bit stronger normal map (I have corrected the trim after looking at this picture to match the correct scale):

Kieme CMBS USA Bradley vehicle names add on
Special thanks to panzersaurkrautwerfer for this one.
This mod adds a name to the back of Bradleys turrets. The names are stenciled in low-visibility black color and are based on panzers' advice on the starting letters, only A and B. There's a total of 22 different names.

Preview: please see the screenshot in one of the replies above (the name has been moved a bit up in order to avoid the repetition under the turret sensor tower).

The best Advisor is a former military, that's for sure.
I really enjoy the fact that such people share their knowledge and interest on this forums, which are dedicated to a videogame in the end, a serious game yet still a game. And I feel a bit silly for myself, sometimes, to discuss about matters I have no idea of, if compared to people who lived such things. I have never even seen an M1A2 with my eyes, just to say one.
