  2. I agree, the copy and paste function, maybe in the form of a drawable shape (rectangle/square), would be great. More than that the ability to save such copies as sub groups, comprising terrain Tiles, foliage, buildings, and even flavor objects would speed up map creations a lot. You could design an entire farm, for example, then reproduce it in all your maps by clicking on an available list of your creations. I belive there's a lot that could be done within the editor.

  4. Just discovered that you can add multiple versions of this skin, this means that you can rename the modded one adding the number 2 and you can have both in game, although randomly. Just like vehicles with more decals to say. This could be useful to add more differentiation within the game, so that if you have more than 1 bunker they won't look all the same, but some will be different.
  5. Fantastic mod! You can use only 1 tag file but in that file you can add as many tags (words) as you want, example: tagged files you want to use: [uniform] and [rubble] You can make a txt file, name it as you want, let's say "uniform+rubble", then you write inside it something like: uniform rubble Save and bam you got 2 tags in your file. You can add as many as you want and mix them, just make sure you rename the file with something you can remember.
  6. Thanks everybody! Not sure carl, IIRC.. BN has the same bunker model yes, but I don't know about FI. You can try it in your Z folder, in case see if you need to rename the files according to what you find in the originals from battlefront.

My two cents for what I can reply to. 1) didn't see any difference, I don't own FI but the entire BN collection and didn't notice any performance difference, it's all about map sizes in the end for my computer. 3) again, can't speak for FI but normandy and garden have the same graphic quality as in RT, RT has a new shader system as far as I have understood that has to be tweaked again. 4) I think RT is very playable right now, there are no major bugs I can tell about, no recurrent crashes for many people, nothing game-breaking. Patches can only improve what we have now. as for my side the only thing that disturbs me is the Su-152 crew popping out of the wrong (and closed) hatch, and some strange shaders behaviours, apart from that it's fine with me. Patches will improve shaders and some other bugs, one I noticed is the lack of anti aliasing when using the movie filter, for example, but that doesn't make the game un-playable at all. Aris modded all soviet tanks and most of german ones, so I am fine with that too
  8. Hi all, a little mod for the concrete bunker, german version. For the first time I tried to make a new normal map to go with it. Note: I used a bit of Aris' CMRT terrain (ground dirt) to make it more blendable with that terrain mod). My two cents: good - easy to follow and comfortable upload form / uploaded management good - simple and quick interface / menus bad - I have to re-login every time I visit bad - preview picture can't be opened to full size when the mod is selected Possible improvement: ability to sort out mods by clicking on the up screen elements such as: Athor / title / mod type / country

  11. Hi all, Download: http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods/5264/details a very first attempt to vehicle modding through layers. I am experimenting and such, so I decided to try modding my favourite tank destroyer, the hetzer. I have yet to figure out so many things, this mod does not convince me 100% but I decided to release it anyway. It's very dusty, might be Worth more than anything a [dusty] tag if you make a scenario that needs that condition. Waiting for Aris' one I'll toss in this as a gap filler. Not sure if I'll mod other tanks, it's quite hard and I am already more than satisfied with all other mods! Changed: -added many layers for scratches, dirt, mud. -changed the original color scheme into a similar one, but with little mods to the green Patches shapes and removing their brown outline. -changed saturation, brightness, sharpness, etc. Vanilla Hetzer: Modded Hetzer: Any suggestion welcome as usual, especially with this vehicle mod.
  12. This mod makes me wonder, hope, realize, that some day we'll have a CM game that truly is of a photographic, realistic quality in terms of graphics.

Thanks Teacher, HOUSES - 1st part This is Tricky: there's one kind of a log hut in game (1 story and 2 story), of a very dark brown color, so I decided to change it into a lighter tone of a more light brownish color, check previews to see if you like it or prefer the vanilla one (thatched roofs mostly unchanged).   17. Fantastic, been waiting for this since release! On BFC side I must say that IS tanks and many other soviet tanks are very very hard to model in 3d computer graphics. I hope they will manage to rise the polygon counts (and split the textures more) when it will come to IS3, T54/55 etc. in future games. Although CMSF T62 was not bad. Now I wonder if there's some more tanks to BITE around for modding.
  18. Another idea: set up an AI plan where you immediately order the gun to reposition (think of it about a retreat because low on ammo etc.), maybe this could give the effect you are looking for.
