  1. I just have a little weird things yesterday. Playing a solo game in real time. I had an activated IED on a road which didn't explode (normal behaviour, the man with the button was killed). Then later, I drove a VIED on the same road. When it passed the IED, the VIED explode (no ennemy target near, I double check it with troops). After checking that there was really no ennemy troops, I give another try with another VIED but with "normal" speed (the other one was "quick"). The 2nd VIED explode near the activated IED (which did not explode itself). That's sound like the "target command" of the IED "work" for the VIED [ September 19, 2007, 06:20 AM: Message edited by: MirabelleBenou ]
  2. Some comparison screens for the new graphics (before/after) :
  3. Hotti, I never received the "delivery mail", but I received the box yesterday. You should receive yours within days I think.
  4. Got mine today (Nantes, France). Thanks The manual cover is litle dommaged but not so much. Anywar very nice box Do you have other artworks like these on the box and the manual cover ?
  5. héhéhé, oui, disons qu'en ce moment j'ai des périodes très très calmes au boulot
  6. Well, you "speak" well, no grammar errors or anything else Anyway, I think that windowed mode will not be possible Too bad, full screen is not the best choice for playing at work
  7. Mine is a Samsung 931BW. Very very nice. Dirtweasle, you speak french ? If so, do not hesitate to come to Esprits.net Indeed, you can post in english if french is not your native tongue.
  8. I have a Widescreen monitor and it look good. Res : 1440x900. The game took it with no problem. You can see some screenshots I took here : http://www.esprits.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=57&p=4 They were taken with the v1.00 press release.
  9. Hello guys ! Juste a little question, is it possible to play in windowed mode instead of full screen ? Or will it be possible in the (far) future ? Thanks
  10. Well, I tried to play in RT, but it's damn too speed for me I have a lot of problem of giving orders for 3 or 4 different groups and follow the battle at all the "hot spot", even with the pause button. In WEGO, I find it easier to plan and follow the action.
  11. Well, sometimes on hit, you'll see flames. For the javelin of this training mission, I ask my QG squad to fire the Javelin. The other squads prefer to use their machineguns against the bunkers. The QG squad only have M4 and Javelin, so they used the Javelin. That's why I always give Javelin to all of my QG squads Works well
  12. Mine are on slopes yes (Strykers). For the BMP, I don't remind but I think yes.
  13. I think that the MIA represent the soldiers that were healed during the battle. If I'm correct, healed soldier give you some points. There is an abstraction here. You see only a single room but imagine that your troops are moving room to room. Even if they "see" ennemy soldier, maybe they cannot fire at them in "real". In buildings, what you see is not what they see
  14. Well, just a point, they are not french but from Quebec And I prefer this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UXl9PcPvKc&mode=related&search= These 2 vids are very funny EDIT : Another funny one :
  15. For the multi-core, check a thread from Steve, he put some links for Microsoft Hotfixes. Here my conf : A64 3000+ 1 Go ram X850XT 256 Mo Game run fine with all graph options maxed out and fsaa x2 (well, fine for me is not 60 FPS. I think I get nearly 15-20 FPS, didn't check). I only put Shadow off (key ALT + W).
  16. Hello there ! I'm playing a PBEM with a friend. The little scenario "armored on top hill" ? I'm not sure of the title. The Syrian have 4 BMP-1 and the US 4 Strykers. The goal is to take the little farm upside. I and he tried to disembark our troops from the BMP and the Strykers but nothing happen. I can see the open doors of the Strykers but my guys do nothing. I have a savegame for the 2 sides after and before the disembark order if you want. PS : Sorry if this problem was already posted !
  17. It's the normal behaviour. I answer in your friend's thread.
  18. It's the normal behaviour. PBEM work like this : 1- Player 1 choose the scenario and it's password. Save the file and send it to player 2 2- Player 2 copy the file in the "ingoing mail" and open it with the "savegame" menu. He choose it's password then save the file and it to player 1 3- Player 1 copy the file blablablabla. Then you deploy your troups and give the first orders. Send the mail to Player 2 4- Player 2 do the same. 5- You see the video of turn 1 and then give your next orders 6- Player 2 see the same video and then give it's orders 7- Video turn 2, and next orders 8- ..... All is explained in the manual. I played a lot of PBEM, so I can tell it's working fine Juste some bugs sometimes. [ August 02, 2007, 12:40 AM: Message edited by: MirabelleBenou ]
  19. Hello Aloko ! A few days ago, I ask the question to Martin. He told me that they didn't have the time to translate at time the training campaign in french but it will be present with patch 1.02.
  20. Your squad must have demolition charge. Look at this screen or in the manual https://www.combatmission2.com/images/cmsf/CMSF_mousepad_flat.gif
  21. You have a complete key mapping if you click the "menu" button juste below the orders buttons. You'll have another pannel with options (like saving, show key map, offer a cease fire, ...etc...)
