Hi, I have a very similar system, core2 Duo 6700, 8800 GTX, 2 GB ram (and vista 32) I can max everything, Vsync, AA ... no performance problems. The only performance hit is model detail. When I choose balanced, or one better everything is ok (good fps). If a max it - slideshow!!! In the nvida controllpannel i set thread optimation to no (no dual core use). Gottel

Has anybody made a succsessfull PBEM game?

Hello, I tried PBEM yesterday. When I start a game, the file is saved, I type a password, and then I am back in the main menue. I can find the file on my harddisk. When I copy the file to start it as incomming, I have to chosse a password and go back to main menue. The same happens an a friends PC - my opponent - you can't start PBEM equal, if it is a new game or a game by mail, you always go to main menue and the game won't start I use the german retail version of the game, patch 1.01a, german vista 32. All drivers up to date. Thanks Gottel
