PArt of the issue is by this time in the scenario all my tanks are gone or down to only He rounds, I did whatch two direct hits with anti tank grenads do nothing, one next to a tread and one one the top of the hull, aft! It is like the "mystery bug" before where one BT 7 took 25-40 hits and would not die.. saved game and killed it off! Some strange tea you got me drinking here ! Bravo

  3. Odd, I use the bottum hold button and they stay put, are you usingthe top "stop" button? One thing that has caused them to err would be tryingto aim at a spot and the cursor missing and the engine think I gave a move order.. but hours and hours multiplied without this grief.. Good luck..
  4. ok, I can theoretically kill you with a fart lit on fire, but it has no relevence, nor do these ranges.. if it was on the moon would it reach escape velocity, again no relevance!!!!!!!!!!!1
  5. I have seen it all, tigers that wet there beds at night and indistructable crew tigers! Playing both for and against German... It sure is nice when you have red army troops with anti tank grenades, Seems pretty easy to kill the elefants as they are a td without a turret, at least in this battle catching them in a crossfire. For those who like the ai, darn thing snuck a tiger behind my lines! I was all; "where did he come from, " that one at least was killed off quickly, seems there is always one bad apple, hehe Loving this game!

  7. ok, next example, Kurk again, this darn tank , last G tank,and diassabled, kills my t34s, then all my infantry get to it but those stupid frag grenades do nothing, U wold think they would add Molotovs here! or; "piss in the vent and demoralize the enemy " command
  8. ok, did it carry amo? this bad bod lost a track, the back of the turret and kept it up!, it also was able to pivot the hull, at least initially with one tread? I know I cannot do that!
  9. Is shadowaffects more than shadows? This game is awesome there, ??? I see the shadows of the Barrel of tanks as it moves around, and even the planes strafing. This is a good game that will only get better, too bad the trolls lasted more than a day here.

OK, So it is not industructable BUT, This bad boy, I was the Red army player in the Kursk battle and this tank first through a tread, then the back of the turret was blown off, Then after multiple hits asummably by HE rounds as my ap rounds ran out it stayed "afloat" ! I did not know these tanks could lose "part" of a turret? Is this historically correct, it was pretty cool to watch as I saw about 15 hits!

  12. The yanks came up with a hedge row "cutter" tank, that had an interesting attachment that cut into the hedg and inable the tanks to clear the headge, how well I do not know.
  13. ok, still , warts and all this is a fun game. Ranges are EASY, on the left any unit that is the "current" unit, the point of the curser in the map tells the range, simply place cursor on the targeted unit and the range is there in mtrs. When some minor tweeks are in, this game will shine in ways CM never did, CM was a brilliant game without a good decision ia for the actions of your troops, but a TERRIBLE ia for hte enemy. I can see if folks where only playing CM pbem or some other two person way, but CM ass a solo game, VS TOW? come on, Tow kicks ASS, I am no sycophant, this game needs tweeking and much of the above mentioned points have some valididty, but I trust this already fun game will be a great game as infantry disapears when not moving or firing and tanks see less.

  15. Finally my manual, if I sleep with it under my pillow and then plant it in the yard will a giant been stalk apear taking me to a land where I can win in tow?
  16. These is a trick ? no?, CM was a turn based "real time " game.. IE no pause but every 60 you input.. in TOW the Humiliator if you wish to not have a pausable game, simply do not pause, then for turns pick a time and pause every x sconds, if you are doing this I recommend a much shorter time frame, 20 30 or so. Good luck
  17. the ranges are way off, see tank gun ranges! Effective ranges for snipers are, sighting ranges, in the 250-500 mtr good luck hitting anything past that!

  19. I also liked the seek hull down.. , how about lock the facing of the hull?
  20. CA was a great feature.. add that and the abilit y of infantry to hide and I think this gets even bettter
  21. ok, the cammarra is qwerki, but after some trying with a three button roller mouse all works ok for me. I use the inverse wheel setting, seems that I now seem to try to pause all my other games, non turn based by hittingthe space bar! oops
  22. ok, I am giddy.. sounds like a whole new universe of campaigns
