  1. greetings, adding to said i must say that there seems that not have no one multiplayer error, most of issues or minor bugs is with playing versus the AI, the computer opponent, multiplayer issues or hotseat the game can be played, at least, as far as i know at his best, best regards, alaric.
  2. greetings, usually in most games rebuilds on poland units only gives more experience to the germans leading to a more veteran german army for france and russia, it still happens on norway, denmark and yugoslavia, all this down to the up fact that england simply have not all needed mmp for all his theaters, atlantic convoys, asw warfare, the battle of britain and support egypt, on the other hand i do find useless to buy a yugoslavian corps, fully upgraded and place adyacent to belgrade, the yugoslavian capital city, what a waste of mmp, leading to some thinking about designing a scenario more straight, more fast to usa and russia to enter the war and some production advantages to england, russia and usa to rebalance these minor issues that sometimes arise, all in all keeping all variants in mind the computer opponent is not that bad as it may seem, with best regards, alaric.
  3. well, do some research and playing test, not sure for almost sure that are the destroyer units that it caused the error, i are working on a "fixed" own mod at base taken the good-outstanding "adv Third Reich" mod by [pzgren.], the case is that i do test with destroyer units at first and have the given error on first turn, sure some destroyer unit attacking axis sub on the north atlantic, but until it is fixed i must advice that the solution "temporal" is to disable all destroyer units and make a "temporal" variant without destroyer units, of course "hard build limits" are a must to prevent the AI opponent to build soft destroyers, now on the initial test the scenario do not give the error and maybe nearly sure i can play the scenario, make this post for scenario makers advice about the bug or issue, can share my own "adv. Third Reich" mod but not before [pzgren.] granted allowing to it as is his hard work to have been make this mod available, best regards, alaric.

  5. exactly same problem for me, it repeat every time i go to the computer opponent turn, hope may be fixed or to have some solution early, WaW although is an awesome expansion, nearly a new complete game given the freedom to the player with all the options, maybe will try some game without computer opponent meanwhile this is solved, thanks in advance for any and all advice, best regards, and thanks for this good-outstanding game
  6. maybe will not be any help but if you have some more scenarios in the diretory there are two pages of scenarios, you will move to second page with a click on upper right corner of the scenario selection screen, third reich maybe in the second page, it list it ok, as two pages detected, maybe other issue but some players at first have problems with this "issue", best regards, alaric.
  7. i think it is done with control key and set route with mouse clicks meanwhile control key is clicked. regards, alaric.
  8. maybe better games in the market are SC2 and upcoming CEAW, i are a turn based fanatic speaking for me, anyway maybe you may find interesting a pc remake of mithical "hitler's war" as freeware (i think) and can help waiting for CEAW a little, well, i are playing some scenarios on SC2 but this is just my case, not much played it for now, hope to have time this summer for play both games nice and amazing games of 2007 to my personal account... hitler's war link... http://homepage.eircom.net/~monalisa/HitlersWar/ hope you enjoy it, with best regards, alaric
  9. greetings, in 1.05 and if you change the name of the scenario you must to move the folders and files in the 1.04 campaign folder for 1937 world map to 1.05 campaign folder, to the folder for this campaign, in adding to the scenario file, hope it help to re-setup your japanese sprites, with regards, alaric.
  10. i found a page, it seems that some japanese high command generals have more than one role on the japanese army, i think the five of more relevance are yamamoto, terauchi, umezu, hata and yama****a, will be my choice, maybe yamamoto or hata in the home guards army, and the other three in formosa (1), and manchuria (2), i divide all units in "army combat groups" with some units of each branch in each "army group", aside reserves and garrisons, main will be 4 to 5 army groups for japan with some extra units, best regards, alaric.
  11. also there are not represented some very important japanese high command generals, included in my version, will send you when ready, christos... there japanese generals are... Terauchy, Umezu, and the armor forces commander, named Hata with regards, alaric.
  12. another way to adress mmp axis supremacy is give usa and russia a start readyness of 50 or more, but trough scripts limit the increase of readyness for these nations adressing the change in initial readyness, they can collect much mmp and play balance lies so unhurt, i think aside it's obvius point but want to share it, too can give 50 percent readyness and fixed war entry, well, if poland and france wars goes early, so must be usa and russia entry on war status, with best regards, alaric.

  15. greetings, i have some ideas for the editor, however can say how hard will these to be implemented on the game, want to share for community, here them go... maybe new tech... automatic (1/5) operational redeployment for each turn, can save a lot of mmp and worth the costs in open battles. maybe new tech... automatic (maybe 1 from 5, 1 from 6/7) "combat training", +0.1 experience each turn, can make maybe a branch for each land, air and naval units, for a total of three branch, or an unique branch and determine what units get the increase, for the best i think to stablish a max. as said above. editor parameter... give the ability to make reinforcements from [production queue] "randomized" in his entry turn, maybe from 1% to 99%, reflecting changes in the war preparations and war industry from a given nation, uncertainty in wich and when reinforcements will be available can increase the replayability of any and all scenarios, i think, well, thanks for your time and hope to see all this implemented if it can be reached, with regards, alaric.
  16. only a question, if you can help me, it is neccesary to both players to have a given scenario to play on pbem or tcp/ip, question is because i do have a modified scenario for a mod, "europa en llamas", by Jaimain, and situation is that i will like to play it but cannot send copies of it as i realize it is the hard work of Jaimian, so i will like to play other people but without sharing the modified campaign, maybe make contact will Jaimian will be a option, but it can take time and can put original designer in trouble, maybe, all helping will be appreciated, thanks in advance, with best regards, alaric.
  17. theike, i think that you are right somehow, problem is that i do not have the time to work in a detalied landscape, it's freaky, i think you do have play with the computer opponent, in previous playtest the computer's turn for me too take much time and it is dissapointing, so i have encouraged or try to encourage multiplayer only games, thanks anyway for the criticism, i think the scenario don't go to like for all people, given the flaws it have, with best regards, alaric.
  18. allies have very much production, but germany start with heavy panzer units, so what matters is how many upgrade/s is given to germany's army to make it possible for germany to attack, heavy tanks can do much damage and allies can gradually overcome balance with production, if axis do not capture many stronholds, but as noknok has said it is a caotic situation, stronholds initial setup and ownership have been randomized aside of fixed capitals. i hope you enjoy the scenario a have a good time playing it, when i have time i will be happy to try scenario with one or two players by pbem, with best regards, alaric.

  20. i do have a scenario with modded units and a complete hypothetical map, however i don't know if it will please people, i played version for 1.02 from some time to now, for now i must set it to 1.04, only multiplayer, if i can i will post it on the forum somtime for the players enjoyment if they like the mod or scenario, with regards, Alaric
