  1. Will this be a digital download as well as a hardcopy purchase?????? I still like to have the hard copy, and the manual, old habits die hard...
  2. posted 09-10-2007 04:56 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmmmmm..... I must say that was eloquent and very honestly put Rambo. Not to be judgemental or attempt to take sides, judge not lest ye be judged. But, it is a very cheap form of entertainment. Dinner at McDonalds for My family and I, 25 bucks, dinner at Outback no alcoholic drinks, $80. A movie for my two daughters and I as my boy is too young, 25 bucks, hundreds of hours of entertaiment and all the fun this forum brings and the good and knowledgable people, absolutley worth 25 bucks..... just my 2 cents worth...
  3. Yes, very fun and alot of learning for me. Looking forward to some more fun..
  4. Yes we played Rambo and your Russian Rockets got me, I had the chance to retake Moscow on the last turn and win and could not. As Allies I came in through Benelux and Denmark and your LVL5 tanks were too much....
  5. $25, are you kidding, I am in bigtime, I will pre-order tonight around 3:30 AM Eastern time after I get home from work. Ok who else is in and when did you pre-order???????
  6. Yes I noticed, I read it about 20 minutes after Moon Posted, an amazingly cheap price I think. GO HUBERT, GO BATTLEFRONT, I will predorder tonight when I get home from work.
  7. PS. I want to play you both soon to see if I have progressed any in my abilities....
  8. Sounds like someone needed to do some counterattacking to cause some casulties... Best defense is offense...
  9. Hi IronRanger, I am currently on nightshift and can not do TCPs. I will look for a mirror mode rematch around Christmas time though.... After I finish a couple of my three current PBEM mirror modes, I want to play Rambo and Terif in a mirror PBEM if possible.... See you ...
  10. Welcome aboard dude, enjoy the ride. Take a chance some day and play HvsH, is even more addictive... later
  11. See, the very best has given us the exact blue print for early Axis success ....
  12. Little tricky here, You need Poland to fall by 3rd or 4th turn to get enough troops back to the West to press adavantage. I usually hit with all but infantry army and corp on Poland, sometimes one tank also. Then op those two or three back on turn 1. Then at end of turn two attack on Poland I send back HQ and already have a plane in place. With three units back you can hit LC on turn 2, with three and plane and HQ in place definitely hit it on turn 3 and have a few more units op back so you can press into France. By end of turn 4 you should be inside France flanking Maginot, pressed up against the line of troops in front of Paris and hoping for a clear turn, so planes you have moved into LC can do some real damage before full winter sets in. I only walk back 2 armies and the other armor corp. This seems a waste of MPPS oping around, but inreality you will keep allies from using their MPPS for many other items and with early conquest of France gives Axis many options, all stated IMHO, there are many better players that could help explain better ways.... See you..
  13. Very nice work Herr Guderian, thank you for these efforts and sharing of Knowledge...
  14. Try landing with Army first, attack, then land with corp and attack next, then advance into Oslo for a quick victory...
  15. Gogogogo Seamonkey, it would be polite and timing is good for an update on the launching of the new WAW SC2......
  16. Bam! I think we have a winner! Baron has hit abullseye. I think your ideas have much merit and are definitly on track. The fabled I can plant a ship in the Kiel canal and block all ground movement yet you cannot attack it is a good example of the unreal conflicts between ground/ air vs naval units. See you....
  17. I am not sure, I have read about it in one of the WAW forums listed above. There has been an effort to separate the functions of fighter and tac bomber and sac bomber. Even so far as to allow upgrades to tac bomber for naval warfare. Is going to add many new twists to the game... see you in there.. Can any of the beta guys give us a run down on the details of the planes again????
  18. Interesting subeject Iron Ranger. I guess the only real drawback would be loosing a frontline unit, then maybe having to operate it back into battle. Thus operating would be an added cost and lower morale. If your forces were deep enough may not make a difference to loose a forntline unit. Yes very interesting indeed. I may try it in one of the three PL mirrors I am playing at the moment.
  19. Hi Edwin P., go back a few posts and you can see Stalin's Organist post showing routes, 50% went through the northwest, see here http://www.o5m6.de/Routes.html See you,
  20. Anybody know a link to see Lendlease in total to other countries? I cannot find this. MAybe you Stalin's Organist, I like all the data and links you bring to the forum...
  21. Agreed whole heartedly, to this day we use weapons and not manpower to win wars. I think we learned our lesson during the Civil War, too many Americans died for not too much. Seems we are still trying to right those wrongs today, even though those issues are almost 150 years old. See you....
  22. If you read the above link and look at the GDP chart, Axis including Germany, France, Italy and Austria had a significantly higher GDP than the Soviets and British upto and including 1943. Actually neither of them could compete one on one with the Germans. While USA GDP was higher than all constituents by 2:1 goes almost to 3.5:1 over the next closest who is Germany in 1944. Just more interesting things to share with everyone....
