  1. Yes heavy casulties around Voronezh. In the caucus we have better results. One tiger, down one heavily wounded from previous action by Axis. Poor civilians are running away from the firestorm that is Grozny. Axis casulties have been rather heavy on the east front. Brussels, Essen bombed, mines heavily damaged, RN keeps port cities down to zero in western France. Allied blitz accross North Africa gaining momentum, Tripoli neared by advance forces and bombarded by a BB.
  2. Yes the great thing about Battlefront, try before you buy. SC2 and WAW great games with almost endless replay. Goto Panzerliga and you can upgrade PG2 to an almost totally different game with many new units and they have tons of different scenarios. I did this but kep playing my SC2, could not break the addiction.....
  3. Yes, but knowing how far a sub can move, you have and idea where it went. If you know your opponent's tendencies, you will have an even better idea where it went, just my 2 cents.
  4. Allies liberate the poor peoples of Tunisia, eliminating a corp of Italian defenders. Soviets counter the taking of Voronezh with a counterattack of one lvl 4 armor, 5 point to 8 on a German army. Attack air craft, fighters and attack bombers hit lvl 4 panzers on the turkish front. The cities of Brest and Cherbourg are kept at zero, Brussels, mines and Kiel all bombed. The allied air offensive has began in the west....
  5. Yes nice move, Soviet generalson the Stalingrad Front panic, launch preemptive strike. LVL4 T-34s hammer in surprise encounter with level 4 Tigers. Another T-34 assaults a corp and deletes it. All generals sacked and replaced. Caucus front reinforced along old border with Turkey. Going to be exciting and definitely expect heavy casulties.
  6. I have seen USA not go to war until june of 42 before. Check Diplo page...
  7. nOknOk, you are a class act dude. Merv, both sites will give good info and you can ask questions on the forum also. Many good people like nOknOk that will help answer questions.
  8. Get ready to loose alot of time, esp if you play HvH. See you in there.....
  9. Kind of a quiet spring of 42, Allies approach and capture Moscow, advance north towards Archangel. No moementint eh south of Russia, some bombing and straffing of troops in the caucus. Italina special forces take Tunisia one turn before Operation torch goes into affect. Irirsh were also persuaded to join the Allied effort after special advisors sent in to help them. Summer is rapidly approaching. Looks like it is going to rock .....
  10. RN gets the upper hand on the U-boats. Prepares for a full response from the Kriegsmarine. Soviet sitting tight awaiting full Spring offensive. Bombardment continues on the coast of France.....
  11. Wow, very little damaged to the 4 u-boats. With several attacking destroyers, cruisers and 1 bomber they all escape with little damageafter evading except one unit. It takeslittle damage. Subs level 2, some ofmine lvl 1 ASW. Seems they escape a little too easy, especially since a few units were destroyers and they had a chance to some decent damage all missed. Hopefully they all escaped home and not towards my convoy routes. Not much on the ground front as winter still holds east in its grip...
  12. Yes, this all true, but Rommel had a secret company that would get many of the intercepts from the British forces right up until ultra learned their location and the British desrt air force wiped them out(Just before Rommel's El Alamein assault). There were similiar units on all fronts for axis. They just lacked the strategic concept that the allies have because they did not invest in it. So by investing they could equal. Is one of the many great parts to SC2 and WAW that make it so good. I think the original part of this thread is for the creation of an inteligence unit, that could be placed on a front for info directly relating to that front and not the grand hit or miss of the current intel. Which BTW is great compared to the old intel. See you.....
  13. Also you can read the scripts and it will give you an idea fo what can happen.
  14. BTW, thanks Jersey John, I am glad you are enjoying. Good to see you back, you always have excellent reading posts... see you....
  15. Siberians warmly welcomed into the fold. Continuation of Brest bombardment and air assualt. Cherbourg also being bombarded and Air assaulted. Soviets preparing for Axis spring offensive.....
  16. I just use mmy disc and load it, but when it says this will be loaded to blahblah Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg, just delete the Blitzkrieg and now you have two. Only problem is you will need to go to your c:drive, programs, battlefront, StrategiC Command 2( the new one), right click on the start up icon then copy it to desktop. As your old one will only start 1.07 and not 1.08. (It is the color icon that resembles the the cover of the game) BTW, no problem, some of the old guard around here taught me all this a while back wehen I was a newbie, I am just keeping the ball rolling. See you..
  17. Yes you can. I have a 1.06 and a 1.07 on my desktop and my wife's laptop at the same time. I do not think you can have three. I think you are allowed 4 licenses, 2 on 2 different systems, 4 in total. This way you can play out old versions while starting the new versions. See you....
  18. Getting deeper into Soviet territory. The winter effect has hit axis forces. A well placed partisan almost nets Kiev. Instead several units involved in its destruction. Kharkov holding. In the North, Leningrad falls after a short and sharp battle. Artillery has been introduced to a deadly effect, defensively and offensively in that area. FDR has brought America in around early November. Should be a better game for allies, at least more fun...
  19. Back to the original comment about liberty ships, in Arm Chair general there is story of one that was built in 4 days. I think the norm was more like a week or two, but I agree, if Prod tech goes up, build time should go down. IE, we mass produced Shermans, but Panzers were not. Just my two cents.... see you....
  20. Allies add Noregian ore to the armanents industry. Soviets launch counter near Kiev. The fun is begining....
  21. Allies preparing for the next Axis onslaught, we fear the mass production of the dreaded panzers...
  22. Yes not good for the Med RN, but Egypt stands and commonwealth sends in support......
  23. I recieved your e-mail yesterday. I resent tge next turn, It is the third or fourth turn I have sent. Did you get it this time? I got an unabletosend reply the first few times. It tookoneor two days each timetoget those replies.... See you....
