  1. I am UK fan, but I like to see Louisville win until they play each other. I live near Mt. Washington in Bullit County. I moved out here from Highveiw area about 7 years ago. See you
  2. Same thing for force Z near Singapore. 3 Destroyers and one old destroyer. Interesting note, it was sub that spotted them and tracked the force. Of course the Planes did all the dirty work.
  3. Egypt is liberated and returned to the Commonwealth, India sends reinforcements to Cairo. IT. BB blocks the Suez Caanl. All out assault with alot of planes and units goes for the quick grab of Paris. They fail by one point. That could be costly as many units are exposed. The Wermacht has brought in more units than was suspected. More toops land in France.
  4. Go Kentucky, I am from Louisville KY, what part ofthe state do you hail from?
  5. Baku unit is ordered to tie down as many troops as possible for the motherland. Fortress Kuybyshev is prepared to hold off advanced elements as long as possible. Units surrounding them are not at full strength. This info is passed along to the west Allies. Cairo is invested. Intelligence notes a Luftwaffe fighter in the Sinai desert. Must be one of those dreaded stukas lurking nearby. Units move into position near Paris. The next big objective in the West. More units land. Bombers fly. Allies intelligence notes the difficulty of axis transfer of troops to frontline in France. Bombardment of Brussels and Paris hubs has paid off. In a fire side Chat, FDR speaks of victories still needed to over come the Axis Juggernaut. The need for more tanks and planes to replace the equipment lost so far in the French campaign.
  6. I am glad you enjoy reading AAR Jersey John, I hope others also enjoy. I know I do when they are there. Leaderless Soviets attempt to rebuild in the Urals. The new rules on operating make it tougher to get those HQs away after the line collapses. Stalin screaming for some meaningful offensives from west allies to aid his faltering forces. So Ike takes Alexnadria and backs an Italian engineer next to Cairo with a minor army fortifying in the city proper. Bradley and Clark(misclick, was looking for Patton) launch fighters and bombers on an entrenched Tiger south of Paris. Flying all fighters in range(at least for the moment) they were engaged by the newly beefed up Western Luftwaffe. Two US bombers flew to reduce Paris back to zero and to pummel the Tiger some more. Clark finally released his two lvl 3 Shermans to attack, Tiger gone, but both Shermans reduced in strength considerable. Two Brit Carriers, US rangers, British Army and a British corp assaulted and captured Bordeaux. Allies hanging on by a thread. Best news was the elimination of last known U-boat the last turn...... See you guys....
  7. Yep Soviets in dire striaghts to say the least. US forces attacking Alexandria. Cherbourg and Caen Fall. Bordeaux is under assault. Can the west relieve enough presure off of Soviets or is it too late? Side note, K-man has played a flawless paitent game, excellent positioning of units to maximize arty and tac bombers. He has taken some casulties but has smashed a strong high tech soviet army with relatively frustrating ease....
  8. rjh1971, yes you can have two installs on two computers. You can then have one version to finish old games, and one to play new ones.
  9. More troops a shore in the Brest area. Last sub?,hunted and found on the USA lend lease route. US forces advancing on Alexdandria. US retaliate and sink an Italian cruiser and fly planes on the BBs. Soviets in dire straights in the Stalingrad area, instead of sitting tight and being bombed to pieces, Soviet army strike out on a Tiger and reduces it 4 points. Zukov retreats into the hinter lands. Cuacus front prepares for the assault sure to come. See you..
  10. A word for Edwin P. and Stalin's Organist, thank you. You two always seem to have the data and or the most interesting web sites to back your position. Stalin's Organist, how do you find so many interesting sites? thanks guys, Konigs
  11. Some form of improvement is needed, maybe not a per turn but per 1/4 or 1/2 year maybe. I know the odds are extremely low, but I have sat on 5 chits in a category at zero and waited ,more than a year and a half to get first hit, in several different games. Just my two cents....
  12. Yes, Stalingrad front is bare bones. West allies land in Brest and the drive to Free France is begining. Tobruk falls and the Italian navy is finally spotted. Italians in battle formation, USN engages the sub and awaits Italian response...
  13. Yes, after a huge use of Strat bombers, unfortunately a few well placed Tigers bring it all to a shreeching halt.
  14. The Soviet commanders feel like they are fighting a giant python, and they slowly being strangled. Counterattacks the order of the day for the Stalingrad and Caucus fronts. West allies try to bring relief, Tobruk nearly taken, Bomber offensive strikes Europe hard, Damage taken from 3 AA and a Italian and Luftwaffe Fighter.
  15. Powerful Axis forces continue to squeeze Soviets in the Stalingrad Caucus regions. Surrounded T-34 dies knocking a tiger down to 1 point. An attack in the approaches of Stalingrad knocks an army down to 4. Allies advance on Tobruk. Paris destroyed in a huge bomber offensive, Brussels knocked down also. Caen and Brest kept at Zero. Also Air attacks on the defending units.
  16. Yes, those two strike tanks reek havoc on the Polish. Fighters still damage moraleand readiness pretty well. So the one tac bomber is just gravy on top...
  17. Correct Retributar, I read a book once that say we would have had to wait almost 6 months to makemore bombs.
  18. They never show in the queue, they just show up in Kiel. Even in SC2 they were never in the queue.
  19. I wish they were in our game. I am not tracking days, but they are taking a while to build. Longer than normal for sure. Not that they help against your combo of Arty, tac and panzers.
  20. Not much to report. Allies assault on Benghazi is starting. Soviets use artillery and Cruiser to bombard a German Artillery unit. French cities of Caen and Brest kept at zero. Quiet elsewhere.
  21. Rostvo threatened, so Stalingrad front launches small counterattack using AT gun lvl 3 and a lvl4 Tank. They were able to knock out a Tiger and and damage an army down to 5. Lost tank unit and AT was knocked down to strength 3. Other wise absorbing replacements. Chebourg and Brest bombarded again. Advance on Benghazi moves forward.
  22. Two subs sunk and one heavily damaged but did escape out the channel towards souther france. RN takes damage but virtually destroys the U-boat arm. Soviets still trying to position forces to fight the ever growing power of the Axis. NA blitz by american forces rolling, nears El Aghelia. Careless British BB commander roams to near Benghazi port and It. Sub cripples his ship. Italian army, next victim, waits in the city.
  23. Yes, the mountainous roads are treacherous for the AFVs..... Not much beyond the continous blitz accross NA towards Egypt... Soviets use respite to reload. We await the next onslaught...
  24. Nov. '42 Another Panzer down in the caucus. Soviets begin the hunt for the last panzer on Turkish border. Forces around Rostov ready for the impending assault. Allies kill off Italian army defending Tripoli. Port falls city next turn. Cherbourg, Brest kept to zero.Paris reduced to zero, heavy Italian flak and Italian fighters damages British bombers. All economies at full production.... 43' to be a big year......
