Ya'll have got to keep in mind the fact that any explosives are a type of chemical really and thus if you blow open a door you're actually performing a chemical attack. white phosporus is banned under a UN treaty which the US did not sign thus the US are free to use it. (i support the use of it seeing as its just so damned effective.)

whow whow whow zemke i'm 17 and i have 1 FPS half life 2 which i bought to see if the computer crashed on higher res games apart from that i only really have rome total war cm:bb and tacops on this system. just so you know not all 13-17 year olds are only into "fps" games. heh well you see the problem befor ei installed the old drivers was worse instead of getting an error it crashed and rebooted my whole computer (strangely enough the exact same thing happens with tacops!)but with the older drivers isntalled as i stated i get the error. i am begining to think it may have somthing to do with overheating but quite frankly CM:BB shouldn't stress the motherboard more than somthing like Half life 2 (which i've tested with and no crash or reboot) The drivers im using at the moment are 56.72 the drivers i uninstalled were 81.84 OK i'll try that program see if i get the error

it does this error rather randomly during the game Previously it would crash and then reboot my computer at about the same frequency as the error now appears. the error has only been appearing since i uninstalled my new drivers (Nvidia FX 5700)and re-installed some older ones. i've looked through all the topics relating to this issue and have yet to find anything that was a solution! heh i'm the same here i would like to play as the syrians mostly in custom battles because i like Soviet and sino equipment better (just for the pure asthetics) and am marginally better as a player who uses ambush and defense than as a rolling force player.

The M1A1 is not commonly used to roll round citys in peace keeping ops it suffered i think 3 knocked out and around 27 damaged during the invasion 1 knocked out during fallujah and 3 damaged iirc.

I think by 2007 especially in one of the show piece squads for the US army that small squad based UAVs may well be in use. maybe not widely but based on the fact that they were used in falluja by the marine corp.

well a well placed anti tank mine can knock out an abrams an as for airpower its use is very restricted in urban combat where you only just know the opponent is about 20 meters away from you drop a jdam on that and you can kiss your ass goodbye aswell!

as far as i'm concerned north korea is not a very well armed or well trained enemy! it has massivly out of date equipment (in masses) and horribly malnutritioned troops (in masses!)

Urban warfare is hell! if you think about somalia and the casultys infliced upon US forces by an extreamly untrained milita with only the most basic of weaponary (ok one hell of a lot more somalis died but like i said untrained not to mention the fact of lack of medical care and armour) where as the syrians have a pretty hardened army with some fearsome equipment hell hide one guy in a village with some anti tank mines let the front guard of strykers roll through pop out into the open lay down a few mines in the supposedly clear route and all of a sudden you have yourself a leogistics nightmare especially if you're luck enough to have an ammo carrier roll onto the mine loss of vital supplys for enemy probably ROE for causing extensive damage to the village and the chance of halting the advance while the strykers pull back to help! just one scenario of many.

I must say i'm very happy with the decision, i've been looking for a realistic modern warfare 3d simulator for a long long time for a game i play with some freinds (we own countrys such and forth) and have in the mean time been forced to use tabletop counters a program would add much to the game seeing as its graphical and will have the stats programed in. i also hold store by what the release said about them releasing possible modules to the original game with other forces that would quite frankly rock. You have yourself a customer and probably around 5 more the guy that play the game will be phsyked to hear about this.... one request pleeease include T55A1's because they're just such a classic piece of armour. oh another thing i know as its been said to have a "blue on blue" scenario however is it possible to have a "red on red?"

That is a very offensive comment. Equating all arabs as terrorists shows a total lack of knowledge of the region. It is like lumping U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Australia and the I.R.A. together because they all speak english and look the same. Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc., all have their own diverging cultures, customs, histories. I personally would have no problem commanding virtual Syrian forces against an invading U.S. force, just like I had no problem commanding virtual Soviet forces against an invading German force.
