  1. Maybe it just doesn't sell well enough over here so they're considering if it is worth the effort. Or 1C thinks a different publishers might handel thigns differently. Glad to see there'll be something else than Africa, though!
  2. Already on it. I'll leave a post here as soon as it becomes available.
  3. No, that actually was Gordon. But I can try to get the file you seek form him (we're talking the base game vehicles here and NOT the Marines module, right?) and try to upload the file - the original one seems to be corrupted. Give me one or two days and you'll have it.
  4. Well, I haven't gotten the shine out per se, it's rather that the 3-color screens are taken from a different angle - look at the shadows. As far as I can tell, that's not a texture issue, but rather something to do with the general lighting settings - but I suspect it's because of the mapping of the 3d model. An issue for the guy that created it in the first place. Sorry for not being able to resolve that problem...
  5. And last is my T-72 Sand (all variants) made to look like the sand color has been applied over a green base and worn off due to heavy use: All these mods can be downloaded at the usual places: - CM Mods Warehouse - The Repository
  6. Third is my T-72 Green (all variants) matching the stock T-54/55 and T-62 textures:
  7. Second one is my T-72 in 3-color camouflage (all variants) complementing Gordon Molek's 'Camo Russian Vehicles' mod:
  8. Okay, I know that we have a dedicated mod section here, but I have been told by Marco Bergman (whom I had the pleaseure to work with recently) to do a little advertising in the general forum because he feels that the mod section gets too little attention and gets overlooked by most members - an opinion I share. Therefore, here it is - our big advertisment thread! (Steve, Moon: Sorry, but I'm being under orders from Marco, so please blame him! ) Anyway, here's the first one I want to show you - Marco Bergman's T-72 Sand/Green mod (for all variants):
  9. This mod is also sporting insignia for two different armored fomrations plus a nice Syrian flag (taken from the CMSF manual) on the stowage boxes: Available at: - CM Mods Warehouse - The Repository
  10. T-72 in sand camouflage made to look like the sand color has been applied over a green base and worn off due to heavy use: - T-72M (early) - T-72M/M1 - T-72M1V - T-72M1V (2001) - T-72M1V TURMS-T
  11. This mod is also sporting two different turret numbers on the stowage boxes (depending on variant): Available at: - CM Mods Warehouse - The Repository
  12. T-72 in plain, weathered green matching the stock T-54/55 and T-62: - T-72M (early) - T-72M/M1 - T-72M1V - T-72M1V (2001) - T-72M1V TURMS-T
  13. Now that's really odd. Guess I'll have to try harder...
  14. I do have a very reliable and adequately fast internet connection (DSL6000 if that does mean anything) and I can upload files that size (or even bigger) without any hassle through other services/to other locations. That's why I'm asking in the first place... EDIT: Marco Bergman tried it with the same file a while ago and couldn't upload it either - although it might be due to his connection being slower than mine...
  15. It didn't intend to be offensive, of course. And I'd gladly volunteer if I had the time - which I unfortuantely haven't. But I assumed most mods had some kind of readme you could simply paste... I tried to upload a file with over 60MB a few times and it didn't work - always got a timeout. Any idea why?
  16. Too bad no one really bothers with reuploading the description as well... All nice and fine to have all them mods up and running again, but without a proper decription included you more often than not won't know what you download - esepcially when nobody did a preview picture in the first place. I had really liked the uploaders to that as well - I'd have done it. By the way, what was the file size limit again?
  17. He's also looking for the SU-76 AndrewTF did - and which got lost in one of the CMMODS crashes and hence was never part of the data dump. Anyone out there still having this mod lying around somewhere and who'd care to upload ot to The Warehouse?
  18. I think if they actually did that, all they'd get themselves into was one helluva mess - becasue everyone would emand that this and that forward compatibility feature should be added as well (not counting all those features that have to be added, anyway). And if tehy did that, we'd have exactly the same as before, just with a new engine. It would take years over years over years until we saw something even remotely finished and still nobody would be satisfied. So don't expect them to - ever. What BFC's doing is the right thing, believe me (having served my time in a PC game company a few years ago) and you'll be thankful for it. Which wargaming nut actually cares if he has to sepnd a few additional dollars, anyway? I bet most of us have spent thousands of dollars already on this hobby (including all the other stuff that goes with it like action dolls, books and reenactment equipment) and surely enough to make most 'normal' people weep... So what's a few more dollars to us, eh?
  19. And, lest I forget, a comparison screenshot with Gordon's original T-90: All credit to Marco Bergman (who did the base textures) and Gordon Molek for devising the original pattern I merely copied.
  20. And just so everyone knows what he's getting into, some screens: - T-72M (early) - T-72M/M1 - T-72M1V - T-72M1V (2001) - T-72M1V TURMS-T More variants to come soon!
  21. Too many games, not enough time already... although the question is how different from CMSF this one will really be. Well, we shall see and then we shall know, I presume. Steve, will there be a proper demo?
  22. Now those photographs would interest me... I'd have done a pattern of a different unit but with added "GD" insignia. WOuld it be possible to share those photographs or at least point me to them? Thanks in advance!
  23. Currently planned are a SdKfz251/1, a SdKfz251/9, a JgdPzIV, a PzIVH and at least one StuGIII variant (maybe two, depending on a number of factors).
  24. Quick update: I have found more photographic evidence indicating that the "GD" Panthers carried crosses as well, which have now been included. Everyone please download again to get the updated BMP files. Sorry for that...
  25. Oh, I will certainly provide you with some kind of "GD" mod set... I got somewhat attached to that division while playing a CM campaign and thought it to be a nice theme for a set of mods.
