  3. Some guys discuss this before. I am still not satisfied with hunting subs in that game. Because there is no easy way to catch subs without big own damage. One way I try to find them is to take low strengths Corps as a transport. The sub nearly sinks them by surprise contact but if they survive it is still the cheapest way to find them. Strange anyway.
  4. Does this mean GC is already a success for battlefront? How many games are sold? Or is this a secret?

  6. In Winter you may have conditions Snow and/or Frozen. That makes the following restrictions. "Axis winter" could reduce the strength of units. This is scripted.   7. There are 2 terms that may transposed Blitz and Readiness Hubert means the readiness bonus I guess when first attacking before moving. A blitz attack is when first moving and then attacking. It is not the same. You only receive a 25% bonus when attacking first.
  8. Normal rounding I guess. You are almost right in analyzing the situation but in your example the experience of the attacking unit is important. I think it raises the expected dmg by 1 to 4. Or maybe the blitz bonus as Hubert said (when no experience). The combat predictor shows first # attacker losses and second # defender losses. +/-1 means when a loss of 4 is expected either 3 or 5 really take place.
  9. What about the naval forces? I guess the German Kriegsmarine is quite strong isn’t it. In my last MP games the Subs beats (sometimes dives quite often) the Royal Navy. What about your experiences?

  11. In the extras\docs folder of WaW ist a pdf called Science-of-SC2. There is a quite good explanation of the equations and game variables. Most things are the same for GC.

De-Entrenchment means that a hit from this unit will lower the target entrenchment by x point i. e. a Bomber decreases 2 points of the target other ground units only 1 point Demoralization % means the percentage points the target will loose on his morale proportional to the current (100%) value. Loss Evasion means if the unit is able to evade a loss in strength i. e. naval units evades a loss when attacking a ground unit
  13. One short question about this: Is it one action point or one tile you may move at least?
  14. Maybe you choose "Sleep" Modus for a city or resource. I took it at the weekend and had the same display (I guess)
  15. That seems to be fine. We still have to try when Patch is coming what 200% or 150% means in strength losses but watching that issue is the right way. Thank you.
  16. Could this be limited by the Editor? 200% is still very high and you will not need a tactic to destroy any unit. In our German Panzerliga we are a bit angry about that feature.
  17. Oh yolo911, believe me there are more player than only you who wants the units ALWAYS be able moving at least 1 tile in any direction. Yes any direction. I agree that it is frustrating and not realistic when a ground unit can't move 1 tile forward at the same time when a fighter easily move 3 tiles even there is no airport.

  19. Somewhere in the Forum there was announced that there will be an European Theatre Mod. Is this Mod already finished and could be downloaded anywhere. When will the repository be back on duty??
  20. Yes, that is true. I usually zip my files because of the size. But I do not recognize this display when playing WaW. Do you guys change the routine about this?
  21. After I made my Mod playable I test it with another guy. But even we take the same files we always get a warning #SAVED_GAME_TEXT_19= Original campaign could not be found When exactly this warning will apear or in other words how could we prevent this message?
  22. Hey SeaMonkey, that is the usual way of sub hunting!! I always guess that a destroyer should be able too not to get damaged by suprising but that is one lack of the game.
